These graphics honestly look kinda shitty especially the character models and explosions. You can tell Bethesda has little experience with making an FPS.
@jojishigesso Presumably along the I-15 or Death Valley Road (close enough for the Divide to get a good scan of him). ED-E gets shot at and crashes somewhere along the way, a courier finds him, and takes it to Primm - the nearest settlement, presumably.

@Sporeplayer2102 Navarro is not blown up, it gets taken over by NCR assault. It's where the NCR (and possibly the Brotherhood of Steel) first gets their hands on Vertibird technology that you see later in New Vegas.
It's the Poseidon Oil Rig that gets blown up by the Chosen One.

@dekdk11 Yeah Boon is the best. ED-E has a better back story as revealed in the Lonesome Road add-on. The only thing I like about ED-E from a combat perspective is he makes cool battle music whenever he fights, that paired with the advanced sensors perk he gives, nobody will sneak up on you again!

@GeneralCadoc yeah. Go to Primm. go across the bridge to the Roller coaster casino on the right there is a Mojave Express Building, Its next to a small ruin and has "MOJAVE EXPRESS" on the top. Go in there, on the side of the desk/counter there is the Eyebot called ED-E. you need 65 repair or 55 science and 35 repair (I think) that will make it your companion. Research him on the wiki if you want to get him upgraded.

when i first heard of an eyebot companion in new vegas i thought it would play music while you walked but all it does is make static noises whenever it moves.. :| come to think of it i sort of expect it to have a transformers bumblebee type speech to it whenever you talk to it, like garbled different words from different radios playing to create words and stuff..
@connorkwl I think the story is ED-E was on his way to (wont mess anything up but get Lonesome road) to a place and got shot along his journey, ended up in new vegas to get fixed up since that was close by and thats how he got there so ED-E never blew up :-D
People who are thinking of buying the game. Im thinking you should Join NCR. Its the best group to me. it has the most groups sent out. Has the most elite soldiers. has the BEST armor. And also gives you a old enclave power armor from fallout 2! Also that they give you some good help ;)

Best bet is to save before critical faction choice moments, like when you get the "Don't Tread on the Bear" quest. That way you can always go back and experience being part of every faction.

@TeamRedz It's because my good sir,the Great War happend during that time period between 1940 and 1945.From there,since the people of the world had to go into vaults to save themselves,they were not able to make up anymore music or books or etc.So,therefore,they were only able to salvage music from that time...now i must say only one more thing...*slicks back hair*ring-a-ding-ding.

People who are thinking of buying the game. Im thinking you should Join NCR. Its the best group to me. it has the most groups sent out. Has the most elite soldiers. has the BEST armor. And also gives you a old enclave power armor from fallout 2! Also that they give you some good help ;)

Best bet is to save before critical faction choice moments, like when you get the "Don't Tread on the Bear" quest. That way you can always go back and experience being part of every faction.

@TeamRedz It's because my good sir,the Great War happend during that time period between 1940 and 1945.From there,since the people of the world had to go into vaults to save themselves,they were not able to make up anymore music or books or etc.So,therefore,they were only able to salvage music from that time...now i must say only one more thing...*slicks back hair*ring-a-ding-ding.
