a good tip[ to use your metal ruler when cutting. run your knife along side the edge of the ruler, along the cut you're making, so that you get an absolutely straight cut.

careful not to cut your fingertips off.

Can you use Styrofoam. Cause when I was looking for some foam board. I found some Styrofoam (The kind found in boxes) that looks like a building. I think I can make some factory terrain out of it.

rules for handling knives.

1) Always cut TOWARDS yourself

2) time is a factor. RUN dont walk when holding knives/scissors

3) tossing them up in the air and catching them is a fun game

note: to make sure your glue gun is hot...lick it

i used to be into this kinda stuff, even went to gamesday atlanta, but now they closed both shops where i live and i sorta lost taste in it. i would like to get into it but i have no money :( i had some really awesome ideas for terrain. i always thought of adding LEDs to the buildings for a more realistic effect.

@killalot363 Yes you can. If you want to spray, make sure you white glue the foam edges, or you will get a melted foam edge. (some times that looks cool and give a feel of destroyed building) To white glue the edges, mix 2 parts glue - 1 part water, mix and, with an old tank brush or something similar, paint the edges of the foam board on the inside where the foam is. This will seal it in, and won't melt from primer.

Hey, perhaps a cool tip for those windows; put lassotape paper on the inside wall so that it covers the windows.

Add paint, varnish and maybe bend it slightly to get those white lines; show that it's seen battle.
