This situation in the U.S. seas is serious and will eventually affect the oceans from all around the world. The american government should request scientists and engineers from around the world to come together to figure out a way to stop the leak. As for the rest of us, prayer does work. We must ask the Creator to enlighten our engineers on as to how to stop this leak. If we all globally focus on this problem a solution can be found and it must be found soon if we care at all for our wildlife.

well what is getting them sick isn't hydrocarbons, it's the dispersant BP chose. It's banned in the EU and is several cents per ton cheaper than a non-toxic variety which WAS readily available in many tons, which they deny.

The dispersant is used to sink the oil below the surface out of sight and reach, where it can never be cleaned up. That is BP's primary focus. That is all that is being done by BP, the rest is a joke. They don't want to seal the largest reserve on Earth!

But this video is wrong. It's either myopic and uninformed, or outright subversion - the REAL worst case scenario are the Benzene and Methane fumes coming out of it. That's what makes this oil red; it is mostly methane. In 2005 the US gov't did a geo survey which found all this gas down there, so they know.

This will be like smoking a billion cigarettes for some. Hurricane season.
