Hey man, thanks for posting your first try and this try. I just got a set of rollers and they scare the $#!^ out of me! I'm still making the kind of mistakes you made on your first try. Your progress encourages me to keep trying.
hi man, this thing is good for training? i mean, not for fitness purposes, training couse here where i train is more like a paradise for mountain bikers and i want start the clycling route, i hope you can give a idea.... grettings from mexico :D
Yea I highly recommend rollers. They greatly improve your form and bike handling ability. They are also great for fitness. It's just like riding on the road or mountain. You have a top speed on the road and you have a top speed on rollers. Just kick it into the big ring and a small cog and you'll get a great workout.
I wouldn't recommend them for training. You can use them to get your form and rhythm down but as far as training for climbing there not at all that great. Rollers are great for maintaining your form but not tweaking it.
you give me bad news about rollers, really, i just want star to training in clycling route, there something for training just like in road? rollers is the most close thing for that? i mean you sayit rollers are not great for training, can you tell me what it is for cycling route???

Dude, when you clip in do it when the pedal is at the bottom of the stroke. Doing it at the top is way too hard to apply the pressure. Practice makes perfect, just don't practice in front of me at a race!!!
you should post a vid that says, "finally understand clipless pedals."

do you like those rollers? i am thinking about getting the same ones. why the rollers and not a trainer?
esm2024 3 years ago
Rollers are infinitely better. They feel more lively compared to a trainer and improve you balance. Ride the two and you'll see what I mean.
