I believe that the Russians are wrong in invading Georgia since Ossetia has been filled by Russians in the near past so as to have a hold on Georgia. Originally the Russians went into Georgia as the Orthodox defenders against islamic Turkey. Now they wish to hold it for its minerals and oil. Georgia has a right to choose the EU

The 2000 killed was reported by South Ossetia president Eduard Kokoity on the second day of the war, when Georgian troops were still running amok in Tskinvalli. Had he gone out to count the bodies just to give you a precise number, he would have ended up as another corpse. Thus, this innacuracy is understandable.
So that makes Kokoity and the Russian govt who happily quoted these figures to the world liars, as well as totally irresponsible, as they used that '2000 dead' and 'genocide' to justify their attacks on Georgian civilians. 'Understandable????' No that is called pulling figures out of thin air. Had he gone out to count the bodies just to give you a precise number, he would have ended up as another corpse. Thus, this innacuracy is understandable.

The US Air Force not only used cluster bombs, it used bunker-busting mega-cluster bombs dropping them throughout Serbia far away from any military targets. It's true HRW did denounce NATO's use of cluster munitions, which raised many eyebrows as it marked a rare token criticism of the NATO aggression.

A proof that american media is fucked up is looking at how they are calculating the Olympic medal ranking in this year games (note that they started that shit counting in this year's game). you can look up the numbers on the Internet. Georgia was getting lots of weapons as of late and it was prepared for war. Of course the US did not send its newest tanks or helicopters to Georgia. That would be too obvious. But they did give them money to improve their army and equipment. The weapons that Georgian army has are leftovers from the USSR and the stuff they bought from Ukrain, which is mostly modernized Soviet tanks and other not so new equipment.

I learnt in school it's just a form of government... and Roman democracy was the most dirty disgusting rotten government to exist(Sincerely, it's no different with US).
