your hair is so beautiful! Do you color it black or is it naturally like that? Im asking because if you do color it i need to know what color that is lol its gorgeous
Have you ever tried Nature's Gate Hemp conditioner or the Aloe moisturizing conditioner?? They cost $5.99 and the Aloe is very comparable to A.O Honeysuckle Rose...I started using it bc it's more economical and convenient for me bc I can purchase it from the organic section in my local grocery store:-) I deep treat with it( with olive oil and honey) and co-wash with it and get awesome results!!
@rnmechel Most Brazilian Keratin treatments I've heard of are meant to "smooth" the hair- not always necessarily to straighten it. And yes- keratin is a protein, so I imagine that you'd have to do some serious moisturizing after!
@Iamsonotmyhair My hair is INCREDIBLY thick, so to be able to use this method without using an entire bottle per use (which is neither economical nor sensible) isn't realistic for me or worth the effort. I tried that on one section of my hair and saw no major/noticeable difference :(
Our hair seems to dislike and like the same things....and when my thick hair won't get soft I usually clarify with suave until my hair is squeaky clean then deep condition and it gets soft again. Hope this helps
@CreoleAdonis You know, I tried this today (co-washed then clarified w/Shea Moisture Balancing Shampoo followed by Hair Rules purifying grapefruit/aloe shampoo) and followed up w/Jessicurl weekly deep conditioner. Just have my hair up in a little bun, but am thinking of doing a twist-out. Will def pay close attention to the results to see if it helped make it softer. Thanks for the tip!
My curls look like yours
