I live in Copenhagen. I'm 16 years old. Got my first bike when I was about 1½ years old. I've been cycling to and from everything the since I was 4. I guess thats just how we do in Denmark? :P
It's not as simple as that. There is the language barrier, and there is no Rosetta Stone or Pimsleur for Danish. I think they have it for Swedish, though. Then there is the employment factor. It would be nice to live there for an extended stay, but it is very difficult.
I completely understand, actually. Most of Danish people speak english fairly fluent but if your employed and planing to stay there for a while people would expect you to learn the language. So yeah, not impossible but very difficult. I gave you such a blunt answer cuz i wish it were that simple--my opinion: set your standards lower and move to Canada
Ha@Canada. Ya, that would be fun to live there, too. Especially way up in Calgary, that would be exciting. Unfortunately I can't get a work visa there. With Denmark, I could legally work there. (My mother is British, and I can get dual citizenship with the UK if I wanted.) That would also mean I could work in the EU.
But you're blunt answer was actually quite good. Because really, if someone REALLY wants something, they will just do it. No questions asked. I'm sure would be hard at first...
Nicely done. Love the music and the contemplative filming :0)

That would be a bit over half a million.
To and from work / school.
Every day.
And it's not just in the centre of copenhagen either, the suburbs are "overrun" with bicycles as well.
I should know ...
I live in copenhagen.
I work in copenhagen.
I enjoy copenhagen.
Half a million.
Every day.
