When my family went to Disney World a couple years ago, we decided to stay at Contemporary. We found an amazing deal, but we didn't realise that it wasn't in the main building. however, upon check-in, the Disney staff gave us a free upgrade to the Magic Kingdom view. It was amazing, watching fireworks from our hotel room every night without the worry of the noise. Just ask for an upgrade, yuo never know it worked again last year at the Beach CLub resort
Next year we may be staying at a co-workers timeshare, not a DVC, but some other on-property suites. Best of both worlds: low price but still in Disney!
i stay at the Pop everytime we go to disney. Sometimes we get a great deal for the Swan and Dolphin or The Contemporary. Or if we're bringing my cousins we have to stay at the Stay Bridge Suites ( Located outside of Disney, but 3 minutes away from Dowtown Disney )
