HP isnt pointless but from a performance standard it is. HP can be increased by spinning the engine at a faster speed. That is how small engines are able to make so much hp and very little trq. trq is the rotating force of the engine but with a short stroke you cant create much trq so you spin the engine to a higher rpm to make more HP but then you have to go with lower gear ratios to get mechanical advantage or you will just bog down off the line with high gears.

@packardcaribien The only reason why i said it was a buick is because i helped create mafia 2. the only reason why it looks like a chevrolet is beacuse we had to apply two different vehicles to form one different vehicle. We never had full rights to use the actual vehicles without permission( for reasons doesn't make any sense). You can go to google images and type in "50s Buick" and look for a car that has similar features.

Forgive me If I don't take your word on that, many people life on youtube. But I do understand how gaming companies combine two or three cars to form one, It happens in many games. But this car is a combination of a 1956 Chevrolet and a 1956 Pontiac, not a Buick of either. If it was intended to be a Buick, it would be called a 'Walker', like the other Buick. But it is a 'Shubert Beverly', so i would think it would be a 'Chevrolet Bel Air', and not any other similar looking car.

No I don't have 'connections'; but I have an outstanding knowledge of classic cars. Without it, I would not have been able to make this video. This car has the body and trim of a 1956 Chevrolet Bel-Air; and it is named to imitate that. It was not combined with the grille of EITHER a Pontiac or Buick of that year, it is hard to tell. @packardcaribien I would know that the Beverly was made of more than one car other than the Chevrolet 55' Bel-air; however, the tail light housings for the 55' chevy do not fit the Shubert Beverly. The 55' chevy has a half an oval shape and the beverly has a full oval shape; Did you enter the name in google images to find out if it had a Buick grill. And the Trim of the vehicle doesn't only contain parts of the 56'.

@Milner62 if we assume that both cars have the same transmission, weight, drivetrain etc. and perfect grip, the healey will have a lot better acceleration at first, but will have to shift gears at 4000 rpm, while i could stay in the lower gear up to 7000RPM consequently having my torque multiplied by the bigger gear ratio for longer times, which is an important factor.Anyway, healey weighs 970kg, my 'hatsu 920kg, 0-100km/h times are 9,6 sec for me, 10,3 for the healey (according to carfolio com)

@VladBlok28, which means your car will out accelerate the healey because you have mechanical advantage through the use of lower gears which gives better acceleration but lower top end. That means you will have to shift first before the Healey would out of first gear but you would still out accelerate. Mine on the other hand is a low rpm trq monster coupled with very high highway gears which means I can stay in 1st gear up to 80 mph before hitting redline and I still have 2nd and 3rd gear.

but assuming that your car had the same transmission and drivetrain and even axle ratio of the healey, the healey would out accelerate your vehicle for the simple reason that your engine makes its power high up in the power range and using the healey`s axle ratio your engine is struggling and bogging down just to get the car going fast enough for the engine speed to pick up and enter the more powerful power band.Why I had to change axle ratio on project vehicle to match the engines powerband

@1234clydey, Corvette gots it start in 53 offically. The Nomad in 1954 was based off the Corvette but in 1955 when the Nomad offically came out it was based off the fullsize passengercars. A little unknown fact about the Nomad is those grooved ribs in the roof of the Nomad was supposed to have been individual panels that would telescope back and give you a huge open top. Sort of like how Ford in 57 came up with the idea for a hardtop retractable convertible.
