  • Dry Mouth Treatment – By Saliwell GenNarino

The technical term for dry mouth is xerostomia. Everyone has a xerostomia once in a while – if they are nervous, upset or under stress. But if you have a xerostomia all or most of the time, it can be extremely uncomfortable and can lead to serious health problems.

Saliwell GenNarino, a totally non-invasive option, the stimulation electronics are embedded inside a mouth-guard – like device .more info at goldenmedical australia

  • A good helpful video many thanks.I have tried most drops/gels but not thera tears.I cope well with Lacri-Lube used 3 times a day a little messy granted but the relief is fantastic for me I tend to carry a wet one around with me to wipe away excess.I am yet to try castrol oil in the eye as veatured in another video which sounds a cheap alternative.

  • Hi 1949ers thanks for your reply !

Ive heard castor oil was used before commercial drops became available.

Im not a big fan of lacrilube as my eyes seem to react..but what its about is finding what works beest for you..trying drops out is key to getting the best outcome

    Cheers

  • @quasarhi hi quasarhi...can the ther tears be bought over the counter? or you need to have a doctor's prescription to purchase it?tnx

  • @twinkleann0814

Hi you can get theratears without prescription AFAIK

    My Best

  • No Problem jkmnable

Lets help and understand each other

  • Thera tears are fantastic. I swear by them. It's worth the money. Best I have found, also. I use them every night or I get an erosion. This product has totally kept my eye symptoms under control. Thanks for sharing your information. Very helpful.

  • Yes artj22850

Im still using the Theratears...after trying them all it seems the best.

Glad I coud help you a little

    All my best

  • I also have sjogrens - thank you for the tips! I also keep water with me at all times, along with sugar-free/xylitol gum, some kind of chap-stick (preferably natural) and eye drops - my doctor put me on restasis, but it seems to make my eyes really burn worse, rather than making anything better at all...

  • Hi vashtistar

    Thanks for your reply

Yes Restasis..Ive heard it burns..but hopefully after a while your eyes will heal and the burning will settle...some Ophthal's prescribe a steroid drop as well at the beginning.

In Australia we cant get Restasis..yet our pets can LOL...good idea on using a chapstick, saves licking ones lips (or trying to)

    All my best

  • Thank you! I will ask about the steroid drop, I've been contemplating quiting the restasis, I think I will try to give it more time-I've not met anyone else using it. Can't believe they give it to pets, although my dad & stepmom did have laser eye surgery and acupuncture on their dog to try to help him, so it should not be surprising.

  • Thanks for the great video! and the comment that we can all help each other.

  • allkingfalls11
