  • alright mate what size needle did you use for the fill? looked small in comparison to the piece. nice job. sometimes when i do it the ink wipes off but i assume its incorrect stretch

  • @number1barber i used a 9 round shader and its stiff pig skin so it was hard to keep the ink inn bro ...

  • @lightweight69 sorry last questions. is there a difference between a 9round shader and a 9 round liner or are they the same because block filling needs the same look as the outline i assume. also when you fill are you doing it in circles or are you doing it in lines? i did my own arm but some didnt come out like the others due to lack of stretch so all the info will be a great help when i do the touch up. thanks

  • @number1barber no probs , ok well a 9 round liner is just that its for doing the outline of the tattoos because the needles are much tighter together and the 9 round shader is for coloring in the tattoo and the needles are abit more spred out , when coloring in a tattoo its no so much the stretching thats the issue . you need to pay attention to the throw of the needles and then also do cross hatching to color in its easier to get the ink to stay in,inbox me if u need to

  • i gotta questtion since ur just doin it on pigskin u dont gatta change the needle right??

  • @creature98ful you should always practice clean ways in tattooing so i would change them every time

  • @creature98ful well no pig skin dont get infected lol

  • machine sounds a little fast but over all looks good

  • @LOSTKILLER187 thanks heaps

  • where can u get pig skin from?? && whats thr price ranging??

  • @ThExBaTTMaN from the butchers and about $4 a sheet

  • @lightweight69 $4 a sheet?! Wow we get them for free in Germany. I got 5 of them today to deep freeze! But then we eat alot of pork... nice vid!

  • @Warningsondeafears we get them for free here too but some do charge unfortunetly

  • @cocacolacriminal when you buy it soak it in bleach for about 40 mins then put 1mm layer of salt on it en then leave in the aussie sunshine all day if it still skinks rinse and repeat but soak it in bleach 30mins. you can also re use it too because pig skin is 3 times thiker than ours. soak it in pure pineapple juice keep checking it t disolves layers of the skin than just peel off the tattoo you can do this 2 or 3 times

  • 9 round liner

  • how many needles for the outline of that?

  • you have your machine going too fast bro

  • @ftl989 thanks mate

  • @lightweight69 You actually sound like you got the machine running at an ok speed, if I wanted to be fussy I could say it was a tiny bit slow but it is definitely not too fast. you did pretty good mate. and out of curiosity since this is an old vid .... how are you at this in the present day? did you keep training?

  • @TheRealSavitar i am really good now i was asked to work in 3 shops already lol

  • what did you use to clean your tattoo?. green soap?. im also tattooing on pig skin right now.. i should say its a lot better than fake skins..

  • @imhotep08 i used green soap it is way better to train on pig skin thats for sure

  • Nice!

Did you do anything to skin to make it not rot or did you just put it back in the freezer? How do you keep the skin from rotting when you finished the tattoo, or do you just throw it away?

  • @cocacolacriminal just throw it in the bin

  • Hey, I've been looking to into buying a tattoo gun for myself. But havent had any experience with tattoos before..

Does the gun vibrate much when using it? Is it easy to control and get the hang of quickly?

    Thanks

  • @SMC1234567891011 yes the gun vibrates enough to make it difficult for beginners but persistence is the key and practice

  • great job broseff but it seems like you pushing quite hard on the pigskin im not sure if you are but it looks like it

  • @JoshAndJoshMusic thanks m8 i was pushing a bit hard cos the skin was getting dry and harder to work with

  • I notice you're rotating your canvas. You should practice with it in the same position. You can't rotate a clients skin!

  • @ILikeToArgue thats so true it was my 1st attempt since then i have taught myself better practice , thanks for the good advice :)

  • @lightweight69 NP keep it up! Tattooing is a great art!

  • nice man! good for a first try! is there a studio version of this song online? and is their a way to download it?

  • @MrAppleBradwee go to there web site newskinn dot com

  • word. do you have more videos on tattooing skin or even actual human skin?

  • @MrJuniorCampbell i do but i will not be uploading them on youtube ,sorry

  • you said that was your first time on actual skin? that's pretty damn good yo

  • @MrJuniorCampbell yes it was my 1st time on skin and thanks heaps

  • you pink hands,,,,they look so....piggy...

  • a fellow left handed artist. you still tattooing??

  • @damagebrain1 well i just stopped tattooing because of family issues but might get back into it soon

  • Already starting with bad practice habits. no machine bag, no clip cord bag, allowing spray bottle to touch practice skin( potential client) .. You start with bad habits you stay with bad habits, you should be doing it exactly like client taking all the same precautions.

unless your in a 3rd world country theres a tattoo shop on every corner to get a proper apprenticeship.

20+ years tattooing 5 years as a machine builder.

but to add: at least your not hacking people up as your learning.

  • @VoodooIrons it was my first attempt to use a tattoo gun but i have cleaned up my act thanks for the constructive criticism much appreciated ..

    Guy

  • Weird how everyone in my class is right handed but when I look at tattoo videos on youtube all the artists are left handed. Being left handed is a good thing :)

  • @jaydenftw lefty's are more creative

  • @lightweight69 thank god i was born able yo use both hands for writing, drawing

  • hey guys i need a FAST response to a question:

is there a method to "Conservate" pig skin? ..

would be very helpful if somebody repiles this question with a accurate answer.

  • @Deathbringer99699 not that i know of but soak the skin to make is supple

  • looks good great job

  • @isabella6534 thanks so much it was my first attempt at tattooing

  • My pigskin i have has like dotted lines cut in it. is this normal?

  • @ArtisticFate yes this is normal but you can ask your butcher to cut you a clean piece of pig skin he might do it for you

  • if you can't get pig skin whats another thing you can practice on?

  • @koakrew23 HUMAN SKIN I GUESS LOL

  • @koakrew23 theres something called synthetic skin...thats wat im practicing on right now and ITS AWSOME....well to start off practing yea but then pig skin is better once youve gotten enough practice cuz i hear that pig skin is supposed to have the same texture as real human skin so yea......its worth the investment :D trust me

  • @koakrew23 you can get imitation skin, have a look on killerinktattoo

  • @koakrew23 i've been told small butter ball turkeys have been used. I myslef haven't tried but it's worth a looking into

  • nice work man :) can i ask u two questions .
