In Europe same sex marriage is legal and equal opportunities are there for all, this is why gay story lines are portrayed freely just like any other form of partnership. Maybe the USA and other countries should legalise same sex marrages as love does not only exist between a man and a woman. Love is a gift for all

I totally agree with you, but in Europe, the situation is not exactly as you mention. Marriage is legal in only 5 countries. In some others countries a civil partnership is legal for gays, but it doesn't give the same rights as the marriage...

So maybe the situation is a little better than in the USA, but "equality" has still improvement to make...

They are copying a storyline from a Childrens TV series in the 90's called BYKER GROVE. Brett Adams who played "NODDY" did the same to his best friend - it caused outrage amongst the narrow minded UK public. The series was dropped by the BBC after that. Gay people are still not accepted, when really most young people can go through this and experiment. Hopefully people can be open minded and accept "straight" isn't the only way today. Good on them for showing this on Emmerdale.

I usually despise Emmerdale for its wooden acting, contrived plots & general creakiness - but I'm watching it for this now! Superficial I know, but even Eastenders hasn't given a proper gay story yet (Christian/Syed thing is so shit it's not worth watching) so go Emmers and go Aaron! :)

Aaron tries to run Adam down after being rejected.That's what I love about Aaron's character is that he is so impulsive and RECKLESS.Reminiscent of James Dean(who turned out to be gay also:) However I do hope they end up together not only because they would look hot together and have great chemistry, but also as a way of informing the general public there is such a thing as "bisexuality".Even if they end up having a romance,it doesn't necessarily mean they have to stop being attracted to girls

Thank you. Many people don't seem to be able to wrap their head around the fact that human sexuality is complicated, fluent and covers a spectrum ranging from hetero- to homosexual. Not to mention the different sorts of attractions and relationships.

This looks like it will be very interesting, but not necessarily a gay or bi story line but one of growing up and dealing with issues that can arise in a young man's life as he matures and grows to adulthood, but of course we are all hoping that they do have a relationship on the show, makes for better SL, and it could be hot as hell....thx for this one, just great....
