I agree with some of the things you are saying and of course i know other things said are opinions.I agree its important to get checked out .Ima let you all kno that in my experience of working in the medical field, a lot of women get stds and won't tell thier partner so be extra careful and open with who you are with. ppl like to get info from the internet which is ok in some cases but your doctor should be your #1 source.

i know a lot of my stud friends claim that they won't see a gyno because like they say, "i don't want no man all up in my shit pokin around and shit.."... i look at them dumbfounded.. never knew that only men were eligible to be gynecologists.. to raise their comfort zone, they can easily request a female gyno or better yet, many personal physicians [i.e. your personal doctor] give paps also.. so if anything, you can always get a pap from your trusted physician.. =].. good topic ladies..

Everyone smells different and you should know your smell. If you find yourself smelling diff get it checked. The best kind of soap to use is some kind of antibacterial soap. Everyone should go to the doctor once a year if their first pap is normal the first time. There are a lot of STDS, i would highly suggest people go to the gyno.

oh and yeah I cry every time I go and I've had the same doc since I was 14! LOL AND she is a female doc...she laughs at me every time. As soon as she starts the breast exam I cry....I don't know why. It just feels so crazy to have someone all on me like that . BUT at the end of the day I am always happy and proud of myself for going and taking care of my body.... :)

Most doctors will tell u NOT to douche.They will give ur urinary tract infections..ur vagina is self-cleaning. I know it sounds weird but its true but u need to do ur part by using warm water an a mild body soap not a strong sdcented soap n that intimate area.also when I was a kid I used to wipe back to front b/c I didn't know any better of course I don't do that now!
