That's the Canon 814 AZ (auto zoom). Bad lens for Canon. Pick up the "new" Canon 1014 XLS for $600.00. The optics are far superior. Too dark for that low speed of film. Very grainy for 64T which is not known for that! I'm an expert at color correcting and I don't see any evidence of any at all. Nice look though. Very good for a first try. Like film? Pick up the New Canon 1014 XLS. The 814 sells for a few bucks all day long. Only use 64T during the middle of the day! It needs a lot of light!

@curtismichael14 Uh, It's small format film. Super 8 generally doesn't look super clean. Canon 814 camera's are super top of the line. Maybe if it was filmed with a Beaulieu on vision stock it would look cleaner. But not everyone has that kind of money.

If you get the chance you should try Fuji F-64D. I don't know if they make it in 8mm or Super8, but I've used it in 16mm and it's my favorite film stock to shoot by far. It almost has an oil-painting quality to it color-wise, the pastels it renders are amazing.

You should look at (braun) NIZO cameras they are amazing! The Nizo Pro or maybe a 6080, or from 4000 series.

Normaly you pay per meter + some for the cd rom media, I maybe payed about 20 euro including cd, Sending in more rolls on the same order/cd will cut down the price per cartrige.

Think you should go for 64T film. Nizo cameras are grate, also canon. Maybe a niza 6080 or 562xl. Or a canon 814 or a 1014. Beaulieu cameras are worldcalss but abit expensive.There is soo many gr8 camera out there :)

Hard to choose. the nizo is eayser to hold on hand imo, bether designed. But they booth rock and are werry good cameras. Maybe the NIZO models in general have more fps (speed) options. Can´t chose. sorry, Thats why i use booth :D You should go for one with xl and macro lens. Maybe the NIZO 6080 or the canon 1014xls in bright sunlight i´ll always use my nizo 561 vs.canon 814 becuse i find the wiewfiner mutch bether, continue next post

my 561 also have timelapse and 54 fps mode. but other nizos compared to other canons i can´t say. As i told, they are both VERRY good cameras.

No filter is used, thats why the exposure in´t soo good on this one. the built in 85-filter (the sun/lightbulb switch) is recomended (witch i forgot)
