The School of Media, Arts and Design is located in Harrow, all the other departments are located in the West End/Marylebone area. So if you want to study arts and media in central London, consider another uni. Courses based in Harrow... Westminster is one of the worst universities in the UK. It spends a lot on expensive videos like this in order to mislead overseas students who do not know London, or understand the UK university. No Londoner would go this university. If you come here you will NOT live in London - you will probably end up in Harrow - one of the worst places in London. There is more detail here. Please, please read carefully to avoid making a terrible mistake:

westminster is more of a business than a university. if you want to feel inspired and helped and have great teachers, look elsewhere. If your doing anything to do with media, you wont even study in central london, they dump you out in harrow (the north end of the met line)

ANYWHERE would be better. This place is set up just to trick foreigners. Very few UK students go here - only the ones with no other options or choices, because it has very, very low standards. It is ranked about 100th ourt of 120 universities in the UK for most subjects. It is really awful. Save yourself go ANYWHERE but here.

teaching standards at that place does not qualify it to be a university it is the choice of people who were the rejects of every other uni honestly. for people who did not waste all thier real chances I say work hard to make it into a great Uni some thing that sounds good when you say it out loud and looks amazing on paper. If you are applying for a job and a UCL or Queen Mary graduate is applying for the same one rest assured its not going to the westminster graduate.

"Westminster" is one of the worst universities in the UK. Also the British equivalent of Al Qeda have a lot of activity here and have just got one of their members elected as president of the student body. You will not get a good education at this place.

@qanoon302 consider your self lucky. I did IT and I do not think IT department at Cavendish to be up-to-date. Consider this, 2nd year Mobile dev student are learning about Java Microedition(JME) without prior basic knowledge of Java. In this one semester they have grasp the basic of Java and also learn about JME. Wouldn't be better if they learn first about Java and after that about JME. Same goes for modules where are let by teachers which have no interest and knowledge of the subjesct.
