  • @voddy100truth wiz and b.o.b. both lame

  • @voddy100truth wiz and b.o.b. both lame

  • @voddy100truth FUCK YOU !!!!!!

  • Hip hop truly was beautiful back then. People brought out the meaning which was to express themselves through music and life experiences. Hip hop has indeed hella changed but not everyone is like fake ass lil Wayne. hip hip is not bitches and Hoes. They're still true Rappers but mainstream REFUSES to let their voices be heard! Fuck the industry!

  • ITS 1995 THATS MY FAVORTIE PART

  • can't keep runnin away.....classic ; )

  • A true story about the struggle, not bullcrap about how much money you're making. That's what Hip Hop used to be, a way to tell your story to the masses. Those days are long gone.

  • I believe that hip hop today got ruined by wiz wayne n other fags who cant spit flow as good as the old days. My fav rapper who still on top is eminem n idgaf if hes white he still lyrical than wayne n wiz put together. Those fags right there rockin skinny jeans make hip hop fall apart today in my fuckin opinion. I want the old school hip hop back not this new so called music full of shit!!

  • @vivalababb macklmore is wack ass shit. Joell ortiz is a savior of rap

  • im here because of 8 mile!! haha good, chill song

  • @ShAySlim130 I almost completely agree. However, there are some really good artists today. You just have to find them because they aren't as popular as the bad ones. Some of my favorite artists right now are XV, Yonas, Macklemore, etc. Don't know them? Look them up. People like them are preserving hip hop for me and one day the good will rise again.

  • The combination of the song and video make this a great video if you're stoned

  • I love how Mýa sampled this on her song Fallen, from the album Moodring

  • this is a j dilla beat

  • @TommyFSwagg no its originally by the pharcyde

  • Definitely one of the rap tracks to come out of the 90’s. And that’s saying a lot, since the 90’s produced many awesome tracks!

  • at 1:50 jedi mind tricks sampled that rhyme! : )

  • @AesopVids hehe nice...i wouldnt realize that in 100 years ^^ what song of jmt?!

  • @SYEBone89 I who have nothing. It's a great song : )

  • I bet most people that listen to this song don't know that Jay Dee produced this track..And by Jay Dee i do mean J DILLA!!!!

  • @KendoMatsushima Back in the days i didn't know it was Jay Dee who produced it... I found out many years later

  • @KendoMatsushima of course the man had mad skills and everyone knew where to come for a hot track. Gotta be the biggest legend ever. I don't know a single soul that would talk ill about Dilla. He loved music and music loved him so anyone that knows music is in music and does music does Jay dee loves jay and is loved back. and by music of course I'm talking about that real sht that opens your mind body n soul n really gets u learned. lets u experience something thru anothers words.

  • at around 1:20 the song messes up :/

  • I don't know how I missed this group and song. Then again, I'm white. So that's a pretty good excuse. Great song!

  • the nine people can go die

  • this wiz khalifa fanboys are stupid as fuck LOL someone wanted to tell me that nobody featured and respected dilla when he was alive

  • @Breakbeat90s thats what im saying fuck wiz, he takes his style and BEATS from pharcyde and dead prez. punk little bitch..

  • wow.

  • @clarencejones07 That's true...and u can read it for free...somewhere in my channel description you'll see a link

But if you love hip hop...buy it.

  • @clarencejones07 write this on rick ross, lil wayne or wiz khalifa videos

  • I've been singing this song all day. Thanks for posting!

  • I heard this on New York Undercover the other day.... Brought me back 2 when Hip Hop had a message instead of alterior motives. When lyricism reigned supreme!

  • what is the original song to this beat

  • I can hardly describe what songs like that make me feel but i guess some of it is a mix of love for the music (hip hop) and life ,feeling small in a big world, admiration for artists like the pharcyde,a tribe called quest etc. who can make me feel like this

with lyrics, beats and flows like this...but ShAySlim130 said it best ;)

  • Last night, in a black out drunken stupor I must have preordered pizza online to be deliverd at 4 today....I Fucking Rock!

  • who the fuck samples HIP HOP?

thats like making an electronic song and sampling an electronic song

  • @10lettername Mya and Fallen is my song, I'm glad she sampled this beat

  • i am so freaking high right now.....jesus christ.

  • Wiz: Yeh Im on my cloud

    Pharcyde fan: Wassup Fool!!!

  • Fuck wiz how dare you even speak his name on Pharcydes song SMFH @ these youngzstaz

  • this is way better than the song of wiz khalifa!

  • @MKhsv wiz just sampled this song because he sucks dick and isnt creative enough to make his own shit

  • @iFeVeRi people ride on wiz dick 2 much

  • @MKhsv wiz just sampled this song because he sucks dick and isnt creative enough to make his own shit

  • wiz got ah song called name on a cloud with the same beat

  • @FrescoLeak

    and it sucks

  • @MKhsv it doesnt tho....

  • This song is old cause they was still shouting out the years in the raps. Its 1995!Nowadays nobody cares. about anything. I Miss the old days.

  • Dilla.

  • The best hands down

  • A DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH!

  • i listen to this when i skate very chill love it

  • @The88coolKid me too bro

  • beautiful : )

  • Play this while going on a roadtrip. One of the best feelings ever.

  • mya's fallen

  • @Thedarkheritage1 Check the sound check the sound yeag i love this song :)

  • this song is one of the reasons why i love hip hop so much.i tear just thinking about how beautiful it truly was & that it doesnt really exist anymore(im a female so dont call me a punk)...in the meantime im sticking to my pharcyde,2pac,nas,big,tribe called quest & the others who brought somethin epic to hip hop...peace.

  • @ShAySlIm130 What started originally as an incredible cultural movement turned into the mess we have now. I admit, I still listen to the new hip-hop but it's just never the same.

  • dont you say that not exist any more it still exist in my beats production try to c my hip hop sampler beats classic old schhol style

  • @ShAySlIm130

its just movement, changing in taste changing in culture. people are all about themselves these days, whos repping what and who got more of dis dat, whos getting paid and how much weed they smoking. shit like that only works in two ways, you hate on em, or you like it, i dont do either, but what i do, is get up on the current undergroud scene. cant stay living in the past otherwise those who actually got skill/talent never see the light of the day/\

  • @imahustlababii

It's moved underground to preserve itself.

  • @imahustlababii I absolutely agree with you.And believe me I'm keeping up with current artists still delivering true hip hop like Lupe ( im a big fan of his). There's a lot of others too we just gotta keep up with it.

  • @ShAySlIm130 I'm 2 months late agreeing with you,but then that's a timeless point you've made! It hurts me to the core of my being thinking of what was......and what it is.The era of legends have passed into the mists of time, leaving us with joyful memories of the passed, and cursing the present for the lack of innovation, and the shear lack of intellectual application.

  • @brion4ever I couldn't have said that any better man.Bless you!

  • @brion4ever , thats deep son

  • @ShAySlIm130 we need more women like u alive

  • Comment removed

  • @ShAySlIm130 epic

  • @ShAySlIm130 respect for listening to good music.

  • @SkunkyDeluxe thank you! =)

  • Comment removed

  • @ShAySlIm130 honestly its not gone its potential simply disappeared but hey dont mean no one cant step it up..

i think j. cole and lupe gona bring some new hip hop that'll be worth listening to and adding to my playlist here on youtube. haha

  • @ShAySlIm130 look up hieroglyphics...ill =]

  • @ShAySlIm130 I agree that hip-hop truly was beautiful, but it still is. There are artists that continue to bring something epic to the genre.

    590tiWtaUrQ

    tDYBX5VLj_E

    NItT5YQJZ-g

    nMxAXysr9mM

The songs above aren't necessarily that recent, but the artists are all mainly 21st century artists. They're all still around and making music, with the exception of one.

  • Who the fuck is Wiz Khalifa?

  • @SpoofyDank A good new rapper who used to bump every single Pharcyde track. He wrote a texte on the instrumental of "Runnin", but old school fans didn't like it, 'cause people always hate on new rappers kickin' with old stuff instru. It wasn't bad trhough, He tryed to kick with a very different flow.

  • @DaMadRab Yeah I know haha it was sarcastic. I like Name On A Cloud too, but Runnin is a little better in my opinion

  • @SpoofyDank Same here bro' :)

  • @SpoofyDank a little??? hahaha itsALOT better lol. this is the OG version. takes you back to the nineties ! :) classic. reminds me of summer, wakin up in the afternoon, not comin home till dawn. aaaand repeat :) haha roadtrips and shit. i love this beat. i get that calm chill roll a doobie while drivin on ya roadtrip in the summer wit all the homies and homegirls vibe hahah. bonfire at the beach. goood shit

  • @SpoofyDank a little??? hahaha itsALOT better lol. this is the OG version. takes you back to the eighties/90's ! :) classic. reminds me of summer, wakin up in the afternoon, not comin home till dawn. aaaand repeat :) haha roadtrips and shit. i love this beat. i get that calm chill roll a doobie while drivin on ya roadtrip in the summer wit all the homies and homegirls vibe hahah. bonfire at the beach. goood shit

  • @musicaddictification YEah I just re-listened to the Wiz version...he kinda sucks. He has stupid lyrics and lame flow haha. Pharcyde is dope.

  • peeps sayin hip hop is dead as far as i know my culture hasnt died when people still do b boyin poping locking mcing djing and make the world more intresting wid graffity hip hop isnt just music its a culture nd hip hop will neva die

  • You know that feeling,

    nostalgia?

    I'm feeling that <3

  • Where was I when this came out?!!

  • @kingrob29 in yo fathers ball sack

  • @ChaChing86 Not really, I'm 43. However I spend a lot of time listening to the older CDs in my collection or classic rock on the radio so some good ish slips thru the cracks!

  • i tunes visualizer!

  • i bet this was on World of Jenks...

  • hiphop isnt dead its just changed

  • @xWiredTx u say a change something does not make a different?

It´s like the Goverment of USA, Hip-Hop does do what it want, and it will never be that what u want to be it.

fu mainstream, push the individual Artists and it will be more creative, and not more like a moron musik for people who dont care what they listning to.

  • r.i.p dilla dawg, classic hiphop like this is timeless

  • one of the oldschool hip hop songs i've ever heard...

    B)

  • I get kinda sick of ppl who complain that hip hop is dead...cuz no ones makin good music nowadays well you knwo what? MAKE IT HAPPEN- make that shit yourself. Who do u think writes these songs & create these beats that you can listen to 12 years later and the shit still sounds hot? Regular ass ppl like me and you. who creates the songs that play on the radio and a month after it comes out your already tired of that shit? The Media (to an extent) ...

    WE GOT THIS

  • @REIGN131 stop talking and go do it ur not proving anything

  • @physic4lgraffiti I'm already on that path my friend- my issue is just a matter of how far I can go. what I'm sayin is that if I can get up & go to a studio make a few tracks ANYBODY can. Im not sayin my tracks are the best, hell no. But point is even a wack track is better than a track that hasnt even left the brain yet. Let alone at least one that has made it to notebook paper

  • @REIGN131 its true man but ya gotta have talent to do dat shit, i mean u look at da people that go on thoes american idol show some think there good but they dnt mkae it, u gotta have that real talent man like a gift but i no wat u mean muziik dees days is bad, just commerical shit that dies down in afew months or a yr.

  • @REIGN131 i agree

  • hip hop is not dead...

    but just below the surface

    underground in hibernation

-a covert preparation for a more overt action according to Ralph Ellison the author who wrote Invisible Man..

    (speak yourself into existence...)

  • word...stay off the mainstream kids...its bad for you

  • @sk8njam lol no doubt these kids are gettin brainwashed the wrong message

  • @sk8njam i'm 15 and i hate mainstream. Hope i was born in 80's. love og, keep it real.

  • i heard this in 8 mile last night

  • @1Deadringer2 i heard this right now in 8 mile but it also comes out in the song Name on a cloud from wiz khlaifa

  • @fuahdvampire wiz khalifa can suck a dick compared to pharcyde.

I love the Wiz tho lol

  • I also love mya- fallen great sample

  • Ah the good 'ol days where rap had something more to say than how bitches crawl due to the sweat on one's ball or how all those other Shady's are just imitating.

  • @Sum0phlange haha well put sir

  • Let the bullshit blow in the breeze...in other words its just a breeze!!

  • Wiz took this beat

  • hip-hop neva died. It jus died n business. If u look at wat rappers, DJs doin etc. u'll c hip-hop iz not dead.

  • 389 people need to get together and resuscitate the real. Call me

  • hi iam from german can somebody pls give me the lyrics or say where i can find it?

  • ha this one sounds better with Wiz Khalifa

  • Jamal Eating Cereal XD

  • @samstern145 IM GLAD 2 SEE DAT SOMEBODY HAS ENUFF SENSE NOT 2 FOLLOW DAT BITCH UP.

  • wiz kalifa?

  • @mariotaz they even dare to say that all hip-hop is going about gangsta, girls/ho's, money.

Like everything, I always come up with: listen to the Pharcyde. Like not all hiphop is about that, that's just what snitch50 made of it and a couple of others. First it was all lyrical and just a jazzy beat. Now it's popular and electronical shizzle, that's what u get when what's hip goes to mainstream/popular. That's all I have to say for now :) waiting for an answer, pm's are fine as well.

  • @Tensorskills

Yeah good points there. But all this mainstream hip hop (Now) is about the 'gansgsta' stuff and I don't wanna hear it. But you(Not you specifically) can sit there and bitch about 'Metal Rocks/Hip Hop rocks etc' at least for people like I me I can enjoy both. Sometimes it's just as simple as turning your TV off and looking up good songs.

Everyone has their tastes and some people just like bitterness : )

  • @mariotaz Aye, the world is bitter. The further u come into popular, the bitter it gets.

Like hollywood, little girls now act like most girls (literally) act in the movies.

It's just like, yeah I don't know what to do anymore so I start watching TV and see what happens.

    I miss the lyrical 1990.

And yes everyone has their taste, but it's no reason to bitch music off while you can't even say good names to bitch off. It's like a war which won't end.

Ppl must just listen to the tunes and stfu.

  • @Tensorskills

Well that's what happens when things become commercialized, they turn into shit.

Thank god breaking has not been commercialized. The day when people start bboying to souljah boy will be the day I go on a shooting spree.

  • u have to be the most sadest person to dislike this

  • lol dis da shit

  • This is the hip hop I like! Nice
