  • Rick santorum is a douche

  • Senator Simpson wants to break his Republican oath "Never to Raise Taxes" Whatever Americans pay in taxes even up to 100% of YOUR pay, the Govern and they Elites behind the Puppets will spend it all-Destroying YOUR Independence. If the Puppets aren't allowed to raise taxes the Elites will shut down the Investment funds-Banks by stealing YOUR money;ie MF Global and BCCI and Enron and Madoff; do you get the real picture?

  • why cant more republicans be like this

  • TEA BAGGERS = RACIST TERRORISTS

NONE OF THESE TERRRORIST HAVE RESPECT FOR BLACKS, LATINOS, GAYS, IMMIGRANTS, ANCHOR BABIES, CHILDREN, WOMEN ARABS... U NAME IT!

TEA BAGGERS R ALL ABOUT PROTECTING WHITE SUPREMACISTS!

  • @TheLatinoNation nah they just dislike la raza and border jumping. It's not racist. Al though each party has their own racists in them.

  • @1x90 U R WRONG AMIGO, USE COMMON SENSE!

WHICH WHITE SUPREMACIST WOULD SUPPORT OUR ALMIGHTY LIBERAL LEADERS LIKE BILL CLINTON N OUR ALMIGHTY PRESIDENT MR. SIR. BARAK OBAMA 2012, 1016 AMEND N RE-ELECT!

WHEN NAZI-WANNA-B-AMERICANS PICKED ON UNDOCUMENTED WORKERS, MANY N MANY BLACK, LATINO, ASIAN, ARAB, GAY ETC ORGANIZATIONS JOINED TO PROTECT THE WEAK FROM RACIST PREDATORS!

MY QUESTION IS, WHICH LATINO, BLACK, ARAB, ASIAN, GAY ETC GROUP SUPPORTS THESE STINKY RACIST T-BAGGERS PIECES OF CRAP?

  • I think his words were directed at Newt Gingrich.

  • @MsZeitgeist85 absolutely. From what I know he doesn't care for Newt too much even back in Congress

  • I have a lot of respect for this man. I loved a lot of the ideas espoused in the Bowels-Simpson plan and was heartbroken when it did not pass. I knew it really had no chance in the house but was still upset it did not come up to vote. This is what an American should be - lucid, intelligent, cogent, understands rationale & fact, attempts to solve things instead of bicker. Wish we had more of these guys in congress but sadly we got stuck with morons such as Reid, Cantor, Bohner, McConnell, Pelosi.

  • I can't agree with everything this man says nor can I say I come close to his parties rationality of their actions. But I can say why is it so surprising that anyone thinks this way? It is after all a fair and open way to treat issues. regardless of if you agree or disagree. It's about using your mind and your heart. Not your hatred or ignorance. Now let's see both parties start talking about the current situation and forget about all this nonsense we've already spent enough time listening to.

  • I am speechless about him... serious... THAT MAN HAS BALLS, and the best thing about him is... HE HAS ONLY ONE FACE... you like it or you hate it cause he wont change it for you ...

  • I suddenly feel like paying attention to this guy and feel compelled to vote for him.

  • @NoRINO212: No. This country did worse to blacks and is finally giving them the rights they deserve. Find a more creative way to paint me a racist.

You'll not get a response from me again as I see the difference between us and why you'll never respect my opinion. You mention 'the law of nature' and call homosexuality a 'mental disorder'. My guess is that you're religious and are making this argument on those grounds. Either way - You refuse to see the progress that needs to be made. I'm done.

  • @synorgy My responds are steps ahead of your comment (Deja vu).

LGBT > freak of nature > intersex > Androgyny = Without gender-specific physical characteristic or sexual preferences or gender identity, or combination all of above.

    Your Race card stinks:)

    Progress kills family:)

I tolerate Homos, I do not condone, support, promote, or glorify homosexuality.

    Think straight!

  • @NoRINO212 I'd say "dear god I hope you're a troll" but that would be hoping for too much.

  • @reilly500 You said God, I didn't.

  • @NoRINO212 And your point?

  • @reilly500 I was asking you the same.

  • @NoRINO212 you never asked anything. You made some irrelevant point about god.

I saw saying I wish you were only a troll, but hoping for too much.

  • @reilly500 I wish you are only a queenie in distraught and God has nothing to do with YT.

I never commented with the word God until now, you did it first.

  • @NoRINO212 Are you being serious? Lots of people say god casually. Like "I swear to god", "I hope to god" "for god's sake". They're not actually trying to invoke religion, it's just worked into their volcabulary. And please don't start some rant about how it's wrong, because no one cares.

Instead, actually focus on what I was SAYING.

  • @reilly500 Yes I am serious, this is common gay tactic for disproof the existense of God and saying the Bible being a worthless, outdated book written by man, one of your friend accused me being religious and yes I do believed in God, however I preferred to debate with science and logic so you can understand where I came from.

  • @NoRINO212 I never said anything about the bible or god not being real. I'm agnostic, I don't try to guess if or not a higher power exists. You're bringing this all up youself.

  • @reilly500 I'll take your word for it but just in case you want proof of God look no further than light and darkness for the logic of nothing can exist without reason, not even empty space. (However I'll be more than happy to discuss creationisim if you so choosed)

This thread is dying and I suggest to you *Tennessee Outlaws Gay* by *TheAmazingAtheist* channel on the same issue, please watch the video before comment because the title is misleading.

  • @NoRINO212

You claim to argue from a scientific perspective, but, unlike you, science does not consider homosexuality a disorder.

  • @BjoernarEricSven Homosexuality was considered as disorder until 1975 then became PC normal gay behavior.

It is going against the law of nature - Opposite attracts to fullfill the purpose of life which is called *survival* just in case you haven't heard of it (those are not my words).

I see it as a form of disorder similar to paranoia, bipolar, retardation......

    Its 2:15am, see ya.

  • @NoRINO212

In recognition of scientific evidence, the American Psychiatric Association removed the diagnosis of homosexuality in 1973. In 1975 the American Psychological Association concurred. They state that the former classification as a disorder reflected untested assumptions based on once-prevalent social norms and clinical impressions from unrepresentative samples.

"Opposites attract"? Is that your "scientific" argument?

  • @NoRINO212

Do you consider those couples disordered who decide against having children because they don't contribute to the "survival" of the human species? Would you, based on these grounds, deny them equality? Or to those who are infertile?

"Against the law of nature"? You mean like nuclear power plants, computers or plastic? Because those aren't products of nature, unlike numerous examples of animals performing homosexual sex – it's purpose not yet entirely clear.

  • @NoRINO212

Once and for all: "I don't like it" is not a scientific position!

  • @NoRINO212 How foolish are you? Homosexual behavior is very prevalent throughout the animal kingdom. The only argument I think you have against it all is your aversion to the idea of two men or women together. Not even religion is a valid argument because I do believe God has no problem with homosexuality. "I'm on the right track, baby I was born this way."

  • @lamentablemente93 Some dumb animal humps anything out of survival instinct like chihuahua on rag doll but no game changer there for the human race, please go mate a baboon for the advancement of zoology if you so desire, baby.

I do not question God one way or the other nor would I take your words for it.

You are the statistic failing "natural selection" and "survival of the fittest" but you can TRY proven me wrong with gay sex, until then is a man and a woman in my book.

  • @lamentablemente93 Continue, the argument is not on what you are and how you got there, is all about what works and what the marriage institution is trying to protect.

  • @NoRINO212 None of your arguments are pragmatic. If you think through the issue rationally, you're either born gay, or not. It's not a choice. You don't just decide, "Oh hey, I really want to make things more difficult for myself." If sexuality were simply a choice, then gay people may just decide to be straight to avoid harassment. Thankfully, though, the US is becoming much more accepting and I think that it's only a matter of time before bigots like yourself become a thing of the past.

  • @lamentablemente93 Who you have sex with or no sex is choice, gays child adoption is choice, homo is mental disorder.

may in time science can cure your tendency, preserve your behind, don't jump yet.

  • @NoRINO212 "science can cure your tendency, preserve your behind, don't jump yet." What does that even mean? So you can be gay but not really, is that what you are saying?

  • @NoRINO212: It seems that you're arguing that LGBT people don't deserve the respect they're demanding? Would you deny blacks the right to marry? Same idea.

Marriage *was* a religious thing. My argument is to return it to that and to simply expand the institute we currently regard as 'marriage' to include gays as well. Also - your 'clues' miss the point of my argument entirely.

Sorry for pulling the troll card - You're obviously willing to discuss this rather than trolling everyone.

  • @synorgy You insulted the Blacks with a sexual orientation issue, no Black was ever denied the right to marriage.

    I knew your intention:)

Marriage is a legal contract for a man and a woman, obviously you are too blind to see what (else) the institution is trying to protect and why,

LGBT going against the law of nature and I see them as mental disorder. FYI no one respects *Gay Pride*, save your trouble with the argument of bedroom police, there is no such thing.

  • @NoRINO212: No. Domestic Partnership / Civil Unions are simply another way to discriminate against the LGBT community. If we want to make it equal - we need to apply civil unions to everyone. Make 'marriage' a purely religious thing and have it have no bearing on taxation et all and have a 'Civil Union' be the only way to get a tax break.

I'm also leaving the rest of your comment alone - cba to go back and read the 'discussion'

(Why do I get this dirty feeling...like I just fed a troll?)

  • @synorgy No. LGBT is simply a minority group demanding legislative respect and "marriage" is not neccessary in the equation.

Marriage was a religious/tradition thing until society see the need for regulation, a single person don't get the tax break regardless his/her sexual orientation,....2 clues for you.

(Why do I get this Deja vu feeling.....here we go)

  • How much tax dollars to go planned parenthood for abortions? 0.0%. Sickens me the lies the GOP will tell us about it's funding. READ people. Read.

  • Simpson always seemed warm and fuzzy like an old lady. He's like Aunt Bea

  • ... If the GOP were more like this guy, I'd vote Republican next election.

  • I am from Wyoming and I knew Alan Simpson when he was in office. He has always been a no bullshit type of guy. I wish more conservatives were like him, instead of the trash pile of hateful, know nothing rightist loons we have now. I am so ashamed of the GOP, I changed my registration from Republican to Independent.

  • "GOP has some homophobes" In related news, water is an aqueous substance.

Good on this guy though for being honest though. Gary Johnson is another decent Republican. Unfortunately, guys like this are unicorns in the GOP.

  • What a great man.

  • Why is it so hard for most conservatives to think like he does?

    Very refreshing!

  • Equal Rights is the issue for me. I'm not gay, but gays should have the right to marry. The govt. needs to get out of the marriage business. I wonder what the Mr. Simpson thinks about that?

  • Extremely excellent. Come to Texas so I can vote for you, sir!

  • A decent, honest Republican.

    Who woulda thunk?

    I thought they were extinct.

  • What a freakin' idiot! Men shouldn't be allowed to vote on abortion? WTF? Men are fathers but they have no say in the matter? This clown is why the GOP has trouble winning elections (when they nominate bozos like Simpson). This clown is just mad that he has ZERO influence in politics. Matthews put him on just b/c he knew this blubbering idiot would rip conservatives. Simpson needs to go back to the nursing home so they can change his diaper...

  • mrchiefofsinners is just an ignorant fundamentalist troll. His kind of thinking has no place in the 21st century. Just vote down his comments and ignore him.

  • a Decent Republican ... and they're as rare as angel visits

  • "GOP has some homophones" nawwww, you don't say.

  • Hypocracy does not change the fact that abortion and sodomite marriage are evil and those politicians/people that support such evil are themselves evil. Unless they repent, when they go to the grave will wish they were never born because they will suffer eternal damnation.

  • @mrchiefofsinners What makes "sodomite marriages" evil? Is there some sort of intrinsically evil quality to them?

  • @mrchiefofsinners Dude, he's not supporting them, he's just saying that it doesn't matter to him. He's not a homophobe but he's also not a gay activist. Cool your jets. Additionally, you are projecting your belief system on him. That is both rude and disrespectful. You know nothing of his belief system so I suggest you stop projecting it on him.

  • @mrchiefofsinners But Jesus warned everyone ....including you........that HE IS THE ONLY JUDGE. Not you.

So do not judge other people and say they will go to hell. This makes it sound like you believe you have the right to judge as equally as Jesus and on the same level as Jesus.

I would not be caught dead doing that.

  • I am a Democrat but I WILL VOTE FOR THIS GUY!

He is someone who wants to keep it real! I appreciate it.

Don't change ALAN SIMPSON. WE ARE LISTENING

  • @mytube373 I'll make two assumptions here 1) You're an idiot 2) You're a bigoted homophobe (which means you're probably a closet homosexual like your priest).

  • excellent!!

  • I salute this man.

  • Republicans spend waaaay too much time thinking about sodomy.

It's always nice to see Republicans take some time off from shrieking about Obama "Stealing Our Freedom" to concentrate on their campaign to police citizens in the privacy of their own bedrooms...

  • @DungVids Be more PC, call them "QUEENIES"

  • @mytube373 not everyone who treats ppl equal should be democrats. all people should treat people the same. we are all gods kids like he said.

  • @notnormalbuzz I'll make two assumptions here. 1. You are a pro-abortion homosexual. 2. You "treat people the same" .....except for convervatives like Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck etc.

  • @notnormalbuzz you are so wrong. see...accusations get you no where!

  • It is not the job of Government to determine and impose Morality.

  • I want this guy to be my grandpa!

  • Abortion is wrong. It is killing another human being for the convenience of a woman. If he thinks it is so bad then why is my government supporting it with my tax dollars? Opposing homosexuality does not make a person a homophobe. It just makes them a moral person. Morality is what we need in government, not more like this idiot.

  • @CommonSenseJoe doofus

  • @h1yaaaguy Now that is just mean spirited.

  • @CommonSenseJoe

the fetus doesn't have a right to life....no human has a right to life or any due process to use another human's body or body parts against their will, civil and constitutional rights, duh.

since the fetus is a parasite, removing at the woman's will and legal rights...it will cause it's death, anyways.

abortion is not covered under fed dollars....maybe you should bitching about 3 BILLION DOLLARS going to a rich nation called isreal for the last 30 years.

    usa =/= fascism.

  • @FREEAMERICANOW69 1) Planned Parenthood 2) The murderer of a pregnant woman will be charged for double murder.

  • @NoRINO212

    1. hyde amendment

    2. feticide ( the unlawful killing of a fetus) is not murder in a lot of states.

  • @FREEAMERICANOW69 1)Mis-use of our tax dollars. 2) Liberal's sick justification to commit murder.....in a lot of states.

  • @NoRINO212

    1. no federal tax dollars goes to abortion aka the hyde amendment and most states tax dollars doesn't even goes to abortion, either. so what are you basing this bullcrap off of?

    2. abortion has never been murder and it was legal before roe. and what does politics has to do with the feticide (unlawful killing of a fetus) which is not even murder in a lot of states?

  • @FREEAMERICANOW69 1) Planned Parenthood performed 332,278 abortion in 2009 and 90% of PP's 363.2 million came directly from the Federal Govt.

    2) Murder is when life got terminated untimely and you are in denial to white-wash the legal interpretation in some states.

You have loss the argument already should we move on to Same Sex Union (marriage)?

  • @NoRINO212 Yes, except you forgot that you cannot use federal money for abortions. PP is free healthcare for teens, and reduced healthcare for women. Also, if you are so against murder, what about federal money going to murder over 200,000 civilians in iraq? What about the death penalty?

  • @N

    1. abortion is legal, and what wrong with pp getting tax money that goes towards needy people and helps keep the lights on during an abortion?

    2. murder is the UNLAWFUL KILLING w/ intent...abortion is legal just like capital punishment and doctors killing pvs patients, learn what murder is?

"You have loss the argument already should we move on to Same Sex Union (marriage)" TRANSITION: I HAVE NO LOGICAL ARGUMENT AGAINST PP OR ABORTIONS...SO LETS CHANGE THE SUBJECT.

    no, concede.

  • @FREEAMERICANOW69 1) Why should tax payers subsidized needy's sex life?

    2) Murder is when the victim was denied the chance to defence, the unborn was sentenced to brutal execution without trial,

    3) Marriage is for a man and a woman. PROCEED.

  • @NoRINO212

1.why did 3 billion dollars for the last 30 years, went to Israel? because the majority of the public wants and the politicians fought for it.

    2. sign, murder is the UNLAWFUL KILLING w/ intent...abortion is legal! your moral relativism doesn't change that.

    3. marriage is a legal contract for whomever the law allows to have it, regardless of sex, troll harder.

  • @FREEAMERICANOW69 1) I am all for cutting off all foreign aids.

2)Back to the pregnated woman double murder.

3)Good answer.....and the qualification for marriage, think harder.

  • @NoRINO212

    1. i don't care what you are for.

    2. feticide is not murder in a lot of states.

    3. so when the law allows gay people to marriage then don't bitch about it, why?

because marriage is a legal contract, think harder.

  • @FREEAMERICANOW69 1) You mentioned foreign aids not me, and no surprise here all you want is tax dollars to support NEEDY's sex.

    2) Some states see fetus as life:) Fetus - the young of an animal while in the womb.

    3) There are 10 states in the union amended their state's constitution...."NO" to gay marriage:) Obviously you have no clue why marriage contract is for the protection of an institution, don't bother to think its way beyond you.

  • @NoRINO212

    1. only to your response on not wanting your tax dollars to go the foreign aid...you have no choice where your taxes dollars go to.

    2. and your point is?

    3. obviously, they think they could deny a citizens' constitutional right to the equal protection clause of 14th amendment, when it comes the legal contract of marriage aka the "institution" you are taking about--it will be overturn by the supreme court, duh.

    troll harder.

  • @FREEAMERICANOW69 1) Defund PP.

    2) Fetus is life.

    3) You have no clue, lets leave it that way:)

Domestic Partnership and Civil Union are for recognized by courts, gays are not being denied of any rights.

  • @CommonSenseJoe I don't even know where to start owning you. Opposing homosexuality is moral? Cus the bible? There are 420 species of animals that engage in homosexuality. Why were they allowed on Noah's ark if it's so immoral? If an animal doesn't engage in homosexuality, does it mean they're moral? They must go to church right? Morals are a product of group selection and socio evolution, NOTHING to do with your Jewish zombie idol. STFU you uneducated jackass.

  • @sherlockboneman I guess I don't aspire to be an animal. They do a lot of things I would not do. BTW, scientists interpret what the animals do as homosexual. My dog humps a stuff bunny. Does that means he has a new sexual orientation? No, it means he is a dumb animal drivem instincts.

  • LMAO! this is fantastic! i wanna see more on him! Yeah the diddling of the secretaries thing, he forgot to mention ALL of the homophobic in the closet republicans that have been steadily been cought having same sex partners steadily over the past TEN years. I'm just sitting by waiting on the next guy to have extramarital affairs with their interns or be caught going to gay clubs in the middle of the night under the guise of being straight. LOL

  • I saw this on TV and let me tell you, he's right. I wish someone would put up the entire video. Alan Simpson is a conservative and yet realizes what a abomination the Republican Party has become.

  • Dude, this guy for President~!

  • @soliloquyxdreams ... so you are neither a democrat or a republican, you are a socialist?

  • So what!

  • Poor old bastard doesn't realize that he's not a republican. Republicans are NOTHING like him. at least not anymore. I guess no one has the heart to tell him that he is actually a democrat now.

  • @iloveravi Thing is, his fiscal and economic views, which are totally separate from views on social issues, would make him unwelcome in the Democratic party: he's not in favor of big government, spending, higher taxes in exchange for social services, and so on. One's political affiliation is not defined solely by stance on social issues (and more reasons why the two-party system is not comprehensive). These are tricky waters, for those who are fiscally conservative and socially liberal.

  • @iloveravi I'm a Dem, but I used to have alot of respect for the old gaurd republicans. I may not have liked there politics but those guys were adults. I'm sad to see what's become of that party.

  • I love this guy. Best conservative ever.

  • I salute you, sir. I salute you.

  • I don't believe in God. I don't think I'm one of God's children.

But, damn. I'm happy there's somebody like Former Senator Simpson who thinks I am.

I don't believe in Him. But I believe in him, who believes in Him.

  • This is the Republican party as it should be.

  • @spartanmarty It's the only way it will appeal to my age group. The millenial generation is not interested in having homophobia as a mainstream idea any more as we grew up in a world where gay people were visible and readily accepted. Let us focus on the important issues like lowering taxes and the deficit instead.

  • This only further solidifies my perception that it's the Baby Boomers who are the problem.

  • @leonel1982 What is the problem with the Boomers in your perspective?

  • HE BETTA WORK

  • The GOP has been hijacked by the American Taliban, a bunch of puritanical idiots who do not speak for mainstream America. There needs to be a third party: fiscally conservative, with libertarian morals. The U.S. was founded by men who understood that in order to evolve, people (and sadly, back in the day this meant only white men) need to take responsibility for their own lives, and to not sit in moral judgment of others.

  • I'm gay and liberal and wouldn't waste my vote for a man who wants to eliminate Social Security, I don't care how much he likes that puddin packin

  • I'm democrat but I would vote for him too!!

  • @tchubb

Hear, hear. As I've learned, it's not a Democratic or a Republican issue. It's an American issue.

  • @MaryWaterton

Maybe you should think before you type, or is that too hard for you, dearie?

  • Comment removed

  • love this guy!

  • This. Is. Brilliant.

    Also, "Diddling your secretary..."

    WOW. :D

  • Good for him, speaking what he really thinks instead of just parroting the folks that are sucking up to the fundamentalists for their vote.

  • The GOP has homophobes in it...in other news, the sky is blue.

    DUH

  • haha brilliant!

  • wait, let me go over this again: there is a republican that exactly make some sense and realize that there is something wrong with the people in his party? Oh man, 2010 is real!!!!!

  • @gohanesttreschaud too bad he's an ex-senator.

  • hell yes old guys rule

  • I don't have to agree with someone's politics to appreciate a blunt call to reason.

  • Go Alan

  • I am on standby waiting on a response from Santorum. That douch can't resist.

  • @halleyscomet

He surely has a backbone connected to his tiny pathetic malformed "brain"

    Fuck you!

  • Yes, and they have brain damaged morons aplenty too!

  • A republican with common sense!!!?

THESE ARE THE END OF DAYS!!!!!

    REPENT!!! THE END IS NEAR!!!!!

  • HOLY SHIT I LIKE THIS FUCKIN' GUY

  • A republican with a backbone... wow!

  • Wow. It's almost as if there is one sane voice in the Republican voice. And that's one more than anyone would have expected.

  • Alan Simpson #winning!

  • There are so many more important issues facing the US than homosexuality and I firmly agree with him on his view that abortion is also a deeply personal, gut-wrenching issue. I wish there we more Republicans, Conservatives and Christians who realised that there simply are some issues out there that THEIR personal beliefs and convictions DO NOT dictate how the rest of us live OUR lives.

  • IM A DEMOCRAT AND I WOULD VOTE FOR THIS MAN!!

  • @cjm608

    Pay attention dumbshit.

Simpson also wants no taxes for the rich.

You are no democrat if you are so uninformed.

  • @cmfluteguy im sorry you feel the need to call me names. i just think that on this point he said the right thing.

  • HE'S GOT MY VOTE....and I'm gay!!!!!!!!!!

  • @RonnieLarsen

Then you are a rare case of a gay person with no brains'

  • Now this is the type of person I would like to run our country!

  • Mr. Simpson, we're not sticking with you. Remember you work for us....Oh that's right we fired you.

  • @PatriotBenS

HAHA really? "Mr. Simpson, your complete lack of blind hatred for the gheys is not in line with our doctrine".

  • I'm as gay and librul as they make 'em, but I'd give anything to vote for this guy.

Hats off to you, Mr. Simpson!

  • Alan Simpson is dead on with his remarks as the GOP is bursting at the seams with liars, hypocrites, moral deviants, etc.... Newt Gingrich is probably the best example of all 3 types. I always thought it was a shame that he didn't have a larger national presence in politics as he is the only guy with the guts and backbone to tell people what they need to hear instead of what they want to hear! When the hell are people in this country going to wake up and begin thinking for themselves?

  • Jesus Christ! I didn't know it was possible for me to love a conservative Republican then I run into this Simpson guy!!! Sir, you are awesome and incredibly courageous! Even Obama could learn a thing or two from you on standing up for what you believe in instead of living in fear!
