@YarynaK It's not a big deal to touch your eye. Before I got my contacts I practised a little that how I'm gonna put them in. It maybe sounds weird but it helped me a lot like this video. And touching your eye is not even hurt so don't be afraid of that. Try out the contact lenses. You don't lose anything :)

I've gotten used to my lenses already, and its only been two days. And it takes under 10 seconds for me to insert and take out my contacts. I usually forget to wash my hands, so i have got to get into a routine of washing my hands before inserting and taking out. I LOVE my contacts, I looked ugly in glasses so having the contacts has given me a major boost in self-esteem. :))))

im sorry but this video had me in tears from laughing :D my yes share prescription and i have my own way of doing it i put the contact on my water line thing and then pull up my upper eyelid and blink and it slips into place and it is easier :) takes me about 20 seconds to get them in and out :D

A. They won't be the right prescription

This is so helpful ! When my optician was telling me how to put in/take out my lenses for the first time it took me half an hour to do it once. With her staring at me it made it harder, but I figure if everyone else can do it in seconds after a while, it'll become easy after a while :)

It took me 45 minutes to put mine in for the first time, you need to find what works for you. I found that the problem isnt with touching the eye, but for keeping the eye open, a helpful hint is to not hold the eye lid up or down, but rather the part where your eyelashes meet your eyelid, it gives you alot better grip. I also found looking towards the other eye when taking them out helped (I.E. taking right out, look left, slide the contact to the edge, pinch...) Same with putting them in.

thats not how i put my contacts on. First, i dip the contact lense in Jalapeno juice, because it smells good.Then, i flip the Lense inside out because its more comfortable that way. I put my makeup on before my contacts, so the mascara gets on the lense and it makes my eyes look like i have POLKADOTS.

@Lydomina Um. It didn't go *behind* your eye, it probably folded up in the corner, and it can be really tricky to get it out when that happens. The contact is always visible in the eye though.

The only bad thing other than mixing the visions for the eyes is that if you get pink eye or some eye infection in your right eye and right contact lense, you don't want it traveling to your left eye.
