I did find one, but it sucked. It's really not a hard song to figure out though, with the exception of tom part in the middle. For that I just watched the Cuban concert DVD. It's easy to see what he does.
very GOOOOOD!, What i told u in stinkfist it´s what it makes this songs good, that relax feel! beware with that from 3:45 to 3:55.really good cymbals ............
hey man just curious what your set up for cymbals is becuase it says your using paiste 2002. are they all 2002's. i asking becuase im thinking of investing in ither an 18" medium or thin crash i love the broght tone but im not sure on how durable the thin crash would be since i play hardcore rock and i do alot of crash beats. if you can help me at all that would be awsome man thanks!
All of them are 2002's. I think they are pretty durrible, but you might not want the thins. One of them is an 18" thin, but I tend to play that one a little lighter (the one closest to the camera). The one in the middle is just an 18" crash. and the furthest is a 16"
I love my kit. It's the best thing I've ever owned in my life. I fell in love with it the first time I hit it. Sounds REALLY good with Evans G2's. Thats what I have on here in this video. On the stinkfist video I just put up, I put the original heads on it, because I couldn't get new G2's for my other drums, and I miss playing a 6 piece.
ok thanks man i think i might go for the 18 medium crash just to be on the safe side and the tone is somewhat relivant to the thin. is the medium thinner or heavier than a normal crash?
Mic set up is simple. I have two Mics my had has which have WAY to big a pickup pattern aimed upward to try and catch more cymbals then anything else. And for the toms, snare and base, I bought this $100 Digital Reference mic kit. 4 mics, one bass, 3 "tom" mics. They work, but they are really big and get in the way. Before I had the two huge mics, I did a recording for Evenflow. You can see how JUST the tom mics sound, though the toms were mixed pretty low.
Real nice job man !

Sounds like a phase or compression *bouncing* problem. Could just be Youtubes crappy compression they put on everything.

hey dooood. what heads do you use on your toms
smalls2111 3 years ago
Evans G2's clear on the toms. Power Center snare (though I'm not using my steel snare anymore)
The base is a... evans... something... that has a foam thing around it. I bought it along time ago, though I will prolly get a new base head.
