It's luck of the draw. The schedule doesn't come out until a few weeks before, so it's always hard to say. There are blockbuster movie folks there pretty much every day of the con, but I was only in Hall H to see a few specific panels. Although last summer all the really huge names had come and gone by the end of the third day.

I wanted to go all 4 days but it's all sold out. Hopefully, i'll get to see who i want on day 1. Also, do they have autograph sessions? I know Anime Expo brings huge guests like Morning Musume and CLAMP and they always have autograph sessions.

There is a whole separate hall for daily autograph sessions, and just walking through the main floor you'll run into stars signing at different booths. My daughter just happened to be walking the dealer floor last year and was quite surprised to see Leonard Nimoy and Brent Spiner at a small booth signing and doing pictures. For most of the celebs dates and times will be in the final schedule that comes out a few weeks prior. Also, there is a daily schedule you can pick up as you enter.

Most of the actual A List guests aren't announced until about a month or two beforehand...and then, like Johnny, they leave a few to appear as a surprise. What you can count on is that each year the biggest blockbuster movies in fantasy and Sci-fi will be represented and usually that means that at least part of the cast is there. You can also guess what TV show casts will be there based on past history.
