i used to bite my nails too when i was little. my grandma saw and rubbed garlic on them. since then i havent bit them once.

just a tip:

base coat and top coat are the same thing formula companies just make two different bottles to make more money. one of my friends talked to someone that worked for a nail polish company that she knows. so just for a little heads up, dont go out and buy a top coat and a base coat, just buy one of them and they work just the same!

My trick for painting the other hand is to paint your nails on your dominant hand first, so that when you have to paint your second hand, your nails on your writing hand are the ones that are wet. Always works better for me.

When I paint my nails, I always paint my right hand first (all 2-3 coats+top coat) before I even start painting my left because whenever I try to alternate hands inbetween coats, I always end up messing up a nail or two on my left hand.

Also, you know how sometimes you accidentally get polish on your finger and you usually use your thumbnail to kind of scrape it off? Well, when I finish my right hand and paint my left, I usually use a wooden cuticle stick so I don't mess up my right thumb c:

u could get a french manicure. those are usually clear and the very tips are white, so that should be allowd. but u would have to go to a nail salon or something unless u know someone who could do it. the french manicures look really nice though!!

You can wear nude colors(: Some examples of OPI nude colors are Samoan Sand and Queen of d'Nile. I like Samoan Sand better though.

I have to wait for them to grow completely out. It's really not worth it, just get a french manicure with your real nails

TIP ON PAINTING WITH LEFT HAND:

Try STARTING with the left hand(painting the right) everytime your doing a manicure.

I did this and after 5-10 times it really helped, I don't know why, but you get better at it; your left hand gets steadier.

Now, I always start with painting my right hand, and sometimes that hand looks better than my left.

Any oil will work as a pretty good substitute for cuticle oil as well, for those who don't have it. I use baby oil, but have even used vegetable oil before!
