In the U.S., this is corned beef. Corned beef is a brine-cured beef. The term "corn" in corned beef refers to the "corns" or grains of coarse salts used to cure it. My husband is from England and he was confused the first time I told him I was making corned beef and it was this. It's delicious, you should try to find it.
that looks lovely i'd eat it. but where is the corned beef? - thats just beef your using. not corned beef. corned beef (in england) comes in a tin. very nice dish though :)
that looks good.more like what i thought bubble and squeak was compared to the other recipes on here.i don't know what the heck they are.
