I've always loved the Cult. What I can't understand is why so many of the older rockers allow themselves to get so fat. If you're going to continue to perform you need to keep in shape. Just because one gets older doesn't mean you automaticlly get fat.

Look at Billy Idol.. he still looks like he did in 1987.

@Beefboy616 Ian's had back surgery the other year and as a result can't be as active as he was before (i.e. running, football etc) so clearly isn't burning off the cakes quite as quickly as he did previously.

@13Ghostwriter, there are still those of us who hear the music and don't judge based on appearances...to me they sound better than ever, I actually prefer the deeper tone in Ian's voice to his younger-boy days. No one can say that Billy doesn't sound awesome on guitar, and the drummer KILLS it on drums. They have what the rock world is missing right now, if you don't like it, don't listen

He is the same man....but things change. He has had some major changes in his life...do not judge what you don't understand. I saw them last year in November...they were awesome and rocked the house...the whole place came alive, best show I've every seen of them...and I've seen seven so far...from 2001 on....give him a break, you have not been thru what he has...
