Begging the pardon of the fans of this show, but if I made a VERY expensive armor that uses a human body as a host, I'd at least make it so it can't be taken down with one 9mm bullet right to its control metal, which, I should add, any properly trained combatant worth his salt should be able to do from a comfortable distance.

A basic movie cliché: Even if the worlds best sniper were to shoot the hero of the movie/series, he will most surely miss.

It get's rather annoying sometimes actually. Sometimes, I just want to see the hero get hit by a bullet, at least once.

@pitt1771 Even if they did make it to adult swin or anything like that there would be no second series for this newer version of guyver since in the end (*SPOILER ALERT* for those who havnt finished this series) They kill him off in the end (or so they say) so that guyver would be no more. In all honestly the old one from the 1990's was way better and this new one wasnt all that great, the old one never finished but it was still really good, this new one kinda just seperated from the real story

I hope your not talking about anything thats remotely related to guyver cuz he didnt get killed off at the end of the series. it ended with the introduction of gigantic guyver who can not be easily killed even by a zoalord. this series was more similar to the manga than the old one and is only slightly less good due to the music choice and the lack of gore.

@digipeeper Both are good songs in their own right, but the 80s establishes the "Badass Mutant Hero fights monsters" story unlike the new one which has more of a "Man or Mutant" sub-message.

I would certainly sing Ashihara's song at Karaoke any day, of course.

@hotsexyaoi The anime is about a guy who finds this bio weapon that gives him a power to make him able to transform what u see in the intro. This guy is just a 15-16 year old boy who lives in japan, and when he finds this weapon, he discovers that there are people looking for it and they start to hunt him down and his family/friends just to get to the weapon. It is a very good anime imo, one of the best for me.

In general ,both are the same ,except the New Guyver covers the first four volumes much better since it is spread out through more episodes.

I wish it was fully adapted into an anime.

This is far better than the 1990's version althought the 90's version got me in to manga/anime. The animation in this is of a far higher quality and there are not hugh gaps in the story so it makes more sense! episodes 7 - 12 of the 90's guyver were of a worse quality of animation than saturday morning cartoons although the 90's version had a much better heavy rock sound track! hopefully they will continue and make another 26 episodes :)

Sadly, they have only translated up to volume 7 ( I believe) into English :( So you'd likely have to import from Japan.
