@princeofpeace24k I respect your opinion but Kobe came into the league at an earlier age, won 3 of his championships when he was not the team leader. It's taken Kobe 11 years to win 5 rings. It took MJ 8 years to win 6 and that's only because he took 18 months away from the game. If Jordan hadn't left, he might have 7 rings. If he hadn't retired in 98 and kept playing like obviously he could have, he would most likely have at least 8.

@princeofpeace24k I respect your opinion but Kobe came into the league at an earlier age, won 3 of his championships when he was not the team leader. It's taken Kobe 11 years to win 5 rings. It took MJ 8 years to win 6 and that's only because he took 18 months away from the game. If Jordan hadn't left, he might have 7 rings. If he hadn't retired in 98 and kept playing like obviously he could have, he would most likely have at least 8.

No one can win a championship without help, but MJ was able to LEAD his team to 6 championships. Kobe has been able to LEAD his team to 2. @tiger1649 you can't sum up 15 years in a 10 minute video. Kobe has had some amazing games, but his best games have almost always been against the worst defense you could ever imagine. The Torono Raptors were literally the worst defensive team in the league when he scored 81 points. Kobe might be a more flashy player than MJ, but it's about being efficient and winning. Accolades don't lie. Jordan accomplished more in a shorter amount of time.

Wilt was great but only one championship. I don't think he will be forgotten tho he has a bunch of records including the 100 point game. But some will be remembered as the best ever, mj, magic, bird, west the logo, and kobes gonna be there also

lol all you niggas hating on kobe.. please stop. all you niggas hating on mike.. please stop. right now, mj is the greatest, but kobe is catching up. this debate shall continue when kobe's career is done. i honestly think people don't acknowledge kobe cuz they're scared/worried that mike is gonna be dethroned as the greatest. im not saying he will be, but i am saying that kobe's getting closer to mike and getting closer to surpassing him. we'll see what happens, but for now just appreciate both.

i think that they r both great, but i think mj is always gonna get a lil more credit cuz he was really the first guy to bring the modern game, like fade way shots and all these amazing plays, things that kobe is doing now, cuz i feel if kobe came along first before mj and do what he's done tru his career so far, people would be saying kobe is the greatest of all time. but they r both great legends so lets be thankful they both came along to the nba.

I watched Jordan in the 80's/90's and I must say he was unlike anything ever seen at that time. Kobe who could be as gifted made the mistake of emulating MJ too closely
instead of carving his own path and swagger and I think thats what separates them. Kobe lacks originality but is one hellofa baller.

@princeofpeace24k Kobe Bryant= less steals, less points, less rebounds, less steals, less blocks, less assists, less field goal percentage, less ft made, more games missing half his shots, more games making less then 40% of his shots, mroe turn overs. Kobe is about to pass MJ in career games and is still no where near in catching him in any of thsoe categories. Kobe is a longevity player that has build up his career over time. Mj is efficient and consistent n done more in less. MJ IS GOAT.

Kobe's best FG % for a season was 47% ONCE. Jordan was a consistent 50% FG shooter. and let me see Kobe do 63 pts against the Celtics like Jordan did to Bird's '86 Celtics (arguably the greatest Celtic team of all time. 67-15 in the regular season).
