  • Excellent response!, but you know that the police are rubbing their hands in anticatation of beating up a few more defenseless protesters!

  • Police STAY AWAY

    We dont trust you.

  • i typed "the dibble" in the search box and this came up.

    love it.

    the dibble are dribble.

  • Sexy Asian women **busizz4me.info**

  • Again, you did not change anything, the location was not secret for long and the old bill were all over it in no time.

  • Anyone who believes in man made global warming is an asshole.

  • I disagree with the video.

The police effort at these type of events is measured and appropriate.

From time to time things can go a little bit wrong but you people only have yourselves to blame for that because of your secrecy. If you engaged with us it could pass off just like any other large event such as Ascot or the Lord Mayors Show. Policing in other countries of the world such as Iran is much more brutal.

  • Why don't you climate campaigners just keep your mouth shut, the climate camp location was sent via mass text, to mobile phones, mobile phones which are charged using electricity that comes from power stations, power stations that are fueled by coal and gas and oil, you fu**ing hypocritical arseholes, if you really care, you wouldn't use so much energy and electricity organising this stupid event and making this idiotic self righteous video you bunch of hippy c**ts!

  • lol

  • If you want to effect climate change - get a job that can do so.

Don't sit around and waste our time. Your just mostly benefit cheats....

  • brave new world, that hath such people in it.

  • Stop the marches, labelling, shouting, and so on. Marching into an area that you do not know and have no continuing interest in and shouting whats right for that area is alienating and counter-productive. People do not like being told whats best fo...r them and will kick back against or simply ignore this sort of activity.

  • True - but if the Met can shoot Jean Charles de Meneses for doing next to nothing.... (and so far get away with it!)

  • Think your efforts will make things "better" or a world that is how you want it? The word "naive" comes to my mind straight away - as do the words "no chance". Sorry

  • Tis better to try than to sit and complain that nothing ever changes!

  • middle class, white or not, thank *uck someone's bothering to make the effort to do it

  • capitalism necessitates that the police are used to protect the interests of capital. simple as. great slick video.

  • Ignore, for a moment, the politics of this particular protest and admire the self-organization and evolution of an activity with a great British tradition. The state keeps trying to ban any protest that is not managed by them. The human spirit keeps finding a way, and this group do it peacably. Sun bless them.

  • Brilliant.

Best of luck to The Camp - I'm hoping to pop down there sometime. Lets hope that the police really do get it right this time. Not that I'm holding out a great deal of hope after what happened on April 1st...

  • Luddites werent against industrialisation, they were against corruption & being forced into workhouses, as I live in Sherwood close to Bulwell where they rose up I should know.

Four man films, your comments that most of these people are socialists & that socialists believe in bailing out banks will keep me chuckling for weeks, please continue to enlighten us, please

  • There are these really clever things called graphs that people often called scientists use to prove things. Climate change& temperature has speeded up dramatically& unnaturally since badly planned industrialisation

    happened.

  • Really well written response. Both funny and intelligent.

  • what the protesters should have done ,is to tell the police that it was protest in favour of sharia law..and that their were radical muslims ,the police then would have let them run around smash things up and then beat up and rob 15 year olds ..all in the name of islam

  • And lets not forget that the Police plan to police this climate camp with a commmunity policing friendly approach. That is because several official enquiries have condemened their treatment of protesters especially at the G20 and they are on the back foot.

  • Oh dear. Looks like the Police had a bit of extra spare time to post comments as the locations was kept secret. Remember that the govt's solution to the banking crisis is a socialist solution which we protested against. rillions for failure? No i wold have prefered that we let the banks go bust and that is a capitalist solution. £40,000 for every man woman and child. Big up to climate camp. For every officer who wants to beat you there are many more who want you to succeed.

  • Open policy on Drugs? I dont think I have heard any Climate camp organiser say that. Althought Police Officer Brian Paddock did that in brixton and oversaw an explosion in street crime inthat area. Then he was promoted. Go figure!

  • Comment removed

  • I shall spend the weekend burning tyres in my yard and lobbing car batteries into village ponds....that's my idea of direct action against socialist freeloaders..HaHaHaHa!!

  • How about you run your car in your garage? That will really show those socialist freeloaders.

  • Err most of these people marched against the Government bail out of the banks. The govt bailout is a socialist solution. the capitalist solution would be to let the banks die and then allow something to naturally replace it. So do what you like after burning tyres you will still be misinformed

  • Excellent : )

  • I have to say that I have always regarded most of you as dirty smelly wasters, most of the women as hot flushy menopausal lesbian hags and I have little time for your cause, but I have to take my hat off to you on the way you have handled this and the Police, who you are quite right not to trust. Well done, top job, good luck and peace to you.

  • Nice one - shared on Facebook...

  • Unfortunately, your not all white than white, many people there will claim, they are there for a peaceful protest but no doubt some will be there to smash places up (G20 RBS) and who has to pay for the damage, TAX PAYERS. Thanks a lot, another thing I have to pay for.

  • brilliant

    STICK IT TO THE MAN!!

but make sure you dont go back on your words, good luck

  • That my climate friends is just pure class, VERY WELL DONE AND GOOD LUCK... brilliant.

  • Best of luck. The police in their present form are a serious risk to the Health and Safety of the public and should be disbanded forthwith.

  • any west ham fans going

  • lol

  • Well i am amused by this video. i like the aproach by the organisers.i totally support you guys in everything you do.good luck and hope the rozzers dont show up to spoil the party..;']

  • fantastic fantastic fantastic. i won't be attending today as I can't get down to London, but after attending the G20 Climate Camp I know how relaxed and peaceful the events are, even with police trying to clatter everyone.

I hope the police stay away and allow the you to protest peacefully... I'm gutted I can't be there.

  • Nicely done!

And a great example of using Animoto.

  • Absolute respect to the climate camp media team - THAT is how to send a message. Calmly, reasonably, with good humour and honesty.

  • That's cool but make sure that you do not give easy excuses to the police. i.e. block major roads.

  • There's a Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy feel to the narrative.

  • The MET & other police forces & councils, courts are PRIVATE registered LTD companies run for profit.

    Research it.

    Companies House.

    Dunn & Bradstreet.

  • I fully understand the police just go round killing people and getting away with it these days, they have made them self irrelevant.

  • Nicely done. Really.

I have to wonder though: if you don't trust the police (agents of the State) how can you hope to affect climate change via the same corrupt and violent institution?

  • Im not into all this climate stuff, but I have to say that this video letter is very well put, all the points you made were clear and consice, and you do explain your peaceful intention. however I very much doubt that the met will turn up with a happy, lets have a nice time attitude. As the countries largest employer of lazy bullies, the met will arrive with yobs in riot gear, armed with more than a ground soldier in Afganistan, (not hard), and proceed to beat the shit out of all and sundry

  • Lets hope so :)

  • Good luck to you guys, hope police don't harass you too much.

  • I fully understand the tone of this message & back the Camp for Climate Action 2009 cause, let us all hope that the Bill see fit to learn from their mistakes... (but probably not!)

  • 10 out of 10 to the Climate Camp Media Team, showing us all how it should be done. See u all there :)

  • I may not agree with what they're saying But I agree 100% with their right to say it.

    UNMOLESTED

    Good luck to you all.

  • Awesome video, thugs for hire,

THe police is there to protect the government not YOU

  • lets hope nobody else is murdered by the UK police just for the inquest to be held behind closed doors or the jury being told that they are not allowed to find a verdict of unlawful killing!

  • Excellent video. I bet the police loved it.

  • Quality. Good luck to all of you. Hope this also goes some way to removing the hideous notion that the police require tasers. Fuck that.

  • Grim mate. Fucking grim.

  • Good luck to you all, I wish I could be there but finances dictate otherwise. I'll be there in spirit :)

  • hahahaha, so true so true !

More Power to ya, and best of luck with all your Climate Camps,

if I was in the UK I'd be there with bells on !

    Love,

    Daughter of Zeus

  • Also Knowles - if you were sitting in a lab working on solving climate change, you would have noticed half of your workmates have tried to get holidays to attend the camp, as it is a place where ideas are exchanged and science and politics are discussed.

Your presumptions are so far off the mark, but they justify your own inaction so you will probably keep holding onto them right?

  • Knowles2 - you should come to the camp for a day, but that would be much harder than maintaining these easy stereotypes right? First off, the camp is hard work, there is no events management company putting up marquees and hiring catering companies, all the work is done by the camp attendees themselves, from the power generation, building and emptying of compost loos and feeding 2000 people x 3 a day. Everyone works damn hard, both at the camp and at their jobs for the rest of the year.

  • nice media video though I think some will not be impressed hint "Police " please have a safe protest and a PEACEFUL one.!! I would hate to see the" usual " police tactics should things turn out nasty

    Love and Peace!!!

  • I guess that's what you have to put up with livin in a police state. I would be so wild... Can't stand this depression... I so love the sarcasm in your video! ;o) Hope your guys having a peaceful one this time without the evil force. Peace!!!

  • Meanwhile deadweights like you will continue to be utterly pointless.

  • Really I find siting in a field to be a wast of time and people look like dead weight. I rather be sitting in a lab working on ideas to solves the problems we have in this world and to create new solutions to the challenges we face, rather than just complaing about it like these people seem to do all the time.

  • I personally think that the solution to all our problems is to get my knickers in an *enormous* sanctimonious twist on Youtube!

I'm glad to see I'm in good company, so good luck in your future endeavors.

  • Ok then, Mr scientist - have you ever been to a conference regarding your subject? If so, did you see the value in being around people who are of similar approach to you? Or would you rather just stick to your lab, alone, trying to turn pointless snidery into something of value?

Carry on Einstein - meanwhile there's hundreds of people preparing for an event that will build bridges, increase cohesion and give those involved a strong feeling of involvement in something positive.

  • are you being deliberately obtuse or is this your usual approach?

Why did you go to these conferences? Was it to share knowledge, to improve understanding and to BUILD BRIDGES with people you might not normally know, or do you go there just to show off how brilliant and misunderstood you are?

  • knowles2, your comment suggests you don't know much about what Climate Campers do for the other 51 weeks of the year.

  • Maybe it'd be a good idea if the police don't try and fucking KILL anyone this time

  • Well done to all involved, surprise is the best form of attack.

  • excellent - well done!

  • I wholeheartedly agree with this. The only thing UK police are good at is intimidating innocent people.

Good luck for Climate Camp! Hope all goes well

  • The Police are the pawns of those who want a Global Feudal Tyrrany, as is Brown and his Rottengovernment Cabal. Good video: Shame about the so called "Police" some of whom should be behind bars themselves.

  • How odd in a British democracy one has to get permission to protest, before protesting - this negating any ability to actually protest.

Welcome to neo-marxist domination by the free (ministers) over the penned in piglets in the slaughterhouse (the people).

  • This is the NEWS

  • Wonderful video, I agree entirely :)

  • Quite right, back to Russia with them! *grumble grumble* *shakey fist*

I know your dad, get your haircut, etc, etc :)

    Classic youtube comment :)

  • very well done to all involved - can I ask what package you used for making the video?

all the best for the swoop!

  • at the end it shows a logo for animoto, an online video slideshow production service

  • excellent, thanks for that

  • Brilliant video!

  • hahaha well done to ye!!the best of luck-hope ye all have a wonderful time and the police have the cop on to see there is no need to police the event.

    good luck!

  • Great vid, good luck to everyone going wish i could be there!!

  • Have to admit... this was amusing!

  • This is a box of awesome.
