  • this rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • EL ROCK SE ESTA MURIENDO!!... DEBEMOS RESCATARLO, QUE CHINGADOS SE PUEDE HACER ANTE LA INVASION DEL REGGAETON Y LA ELECTRONICA??

  • OASIS 4EVER!!!!

  • This rocks! i love doing this song at karaoke! I think i will download the guitar tab and learn it.

  • Why everyone says wonderwall when Asking their favourite song?? I mean its great. but we have this one??? are they stupid. how come no one dont think this their favouire

  • haha enforcelinkin i heard that mate, wish i could go back to the 90's also...theirs many things i would change oasis forever buddy =)

  • rock music is dead in the states,if u want rock n roll the best place is great britain....

  • enforcelinky...q buen comentario--pero como dice tambn otra cancion de oasis...los sueños que teniamos cuando niños se se escapan parce....los q los dejan escapar

  • poor quality but great song ...

  • baby i love oasis

  • this song makes me cry........ amazing song. be here now is such an underrated albom

  • what happend to liams voice after be here now album????????? his voice on this album and morning glory timeline was incomparable... best rock voice ever.... but when i heard him sing touring standing on the shoulder of giants i heard his voice and i couldnt believe what i was hearing how he lost his voice.......

he is STILL the best but in his day he was in his own league

  • @quickmantan More than likely his voice was shot dead on that particular day due to heavy drinking/partying the night before and before taking the stage. Pretty typical of Liam on tour. In the studio he would preserve his voice until after laying it down on the tracks. Not on tour unfortunantly.

  • como quisiera que dijeran de nuevo.... en cualquier programa no me importa cual sea...."Well come back OASIS".... lastima que todo acabo.... solo quedara prendida la flama de quienes quedamos amantes de esta musica

  • is this in HD?

  • man the 90s was the place to be.

too bad i was like 3

  • Oasis is a fucking awesome band ! miss the old times

    Fan from Brazil

  • love it mate, this is right up my street. Similar to what I like and write. Check the song on my profile, hope you like my song.

  • This was probably recorded off a VHS tape :) but yeah... i'd die for Oasis :)

  • Good ole' Liam he's propa on that tambourine man !

  • Oasis is my whole life

  • that's sad

  • Oasis did crack the States but they couldn't maintain it, Definitely maybe went platinum, morning glory went 4x platinum and be here now went platinum.

Liam spitting and throwing beer at the VMA's and leaving the tour didn't help. But most importantly WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK? they were stilll a massively successful band in most other places. Producing a number of classic albums and b sides, and selling over 70 million records is hardly failing.

  • i share oasis with everyone i can find in Florida, and the rest.

  • ePIC!

  • I think this is the most beautiful oasis song lyrical that is..I just love it..

  • chsirish5594

the googoo dolls r aussie mate,,, australian. not heard much new stuff from them of late tho. but they are quality.

  • Noel don't go away please!

  • @fielding94 wrong

  • VHS?

  • 20m album! awsome!

  • i prefer the noel's version

  • lol @ letterman he looks so different

  • why post. jesus fucking christ.

  • horrible quality, would've been fantastic if it wasn't for the quality....

  • this is the clearest version? my goodness

  • luv the song-always hav- nice try but cant watch oota time shit! kool post tho

    .

  • I wish I could go back to the 90's...back to when I was a kid without a worry in the world, listening to oasis.

    Oasis forever!

  • Oh lol u are 17! that's no worry! wait until you got 25, real shit will come! all the problems of life, aaaall the time :) I know i'm 29

  • exactly the same as me lol

  • Well U2 didnt come to america yet. But i love Oasis and U2. And American children suck with there music taste. Its sad.

  • i am an american kid.....i love this! and i cant stand disney artists....i listen to OneRepublic, Oasis, U2, The Fray,Coldplay... I hate what the music is here. There isn't any heart in the music.

  • I live in St. Louis Missouri and Oasis is my favorite band by far. It just sucks that no one here knows how good their music is. Instead we get absolute shit like jonas brothers and hannah montana

  • it doesnt matter where ur from, music these days is accessable to anyone with a computer and i'm sure their cd's are sold in y\our local record store.

bu yeah i know what u mean, oasis are my favourite band, and i dont think i've heard 1 song on the radio by them since whats the story,

  • I can think of 3 but only the title of stop cryng your heart out

  • I'm a teen in the US but i lived in England when i was younger, and iv grown up with my older brothers' tastes. instead of Jo*a* Brot*e*s, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Lil Wayne, Lady Gaga, Paramore, and Slipknot, I listen to bands such as Oasis, Snow Patrol Muse,Coldplay, u2, and Radiohead and other bands from across the pond and 1/2 the bands i tell ppl at school they look at me completely gormless but there are still some of us out there that' ve got descent taste :-)

  • glad to hear. all the bands you named are great btw

  • nice to hear that ur showin our culture to the yanks mate not many of them appricate it but u do find the odd few who do

  • I think it's embarassing how bad most American music is. My top 5 favorite artists are Oasis, Snow Patrol, Coldplay, The Who, and The Beatles. All from the UK.

  • And I'm American btw

  • I'm not American myself but my God you lot produced some absolutely amazing music. It may appear that this music is slowly dying out but If you look carefully it's still there,it's just more underground than it used to be

America, The UK and Ireland really are the leaders of music

  • Yeah, some good American bands (to me) are The Goo Goo Dolls for this era. And then for older times there's Springsteen, Tom Petty, etc. But they just don't compare to Oasis, The Who, Queen, etc.

  • @chsirish5594

the googoo dolls r aussie mate, australian, havent heard much form them of late but they r quality.

  • No, The Goo Goo Dolls are definitely American. They're from Buffalo,NY.

  • @badassssssss - american!

  • isn't mad that 3 of the beatles are of irish parents and the gallagher brothers and u2 for such a small country there

  • @chsirish5594 You named a list of incredible bands but, sorry to say Snow Patrol is from Ireland not the UK.

  • try and keep in mind that here hanna montana and the johnass brothers both outsold U2 this year. Oasis Did in fact sell out a 2009 tour. but so did buddy guy and no one knows who is he here either.

if you want something to compare it to. Paul Mccartney's 2007 tour sold out the largest venues in the country and then this album didn't get a single play on the radio at all. i totally agree they owned us for about a year here but champagne supernova was a larger hit than don't walk away in anger.

  • do the spice girls count?

speaking as an american living in the "american idol" era i can say i feel lucky that any real band still exists at all. we are becoming a country that thinks of 14 year old girls as real musicians.

and they don't have any fans left in the USA but it's not their fault. they came along right about the time MTV was changing from real music to RAP. here in the states we got ( whats the story morning glory) and i can't say i ever heard them again.

  • The Beatles? XD

  • nice lol

  • Why do you think this sounds like the Beatles?

  • Oasis owned America in the 90s. They sold over 10 million copies of their albums in the States. What other modern British band has done that, aside from Coldplay?

  • it annoys me when letterman asks noel if he and his brother are going to fight at the end...

  • like that's a strange question for the gallaghers... they probably fought over the question :)

  • funny

  • "Oasis never made it in the states!"

No, of course not. They've just finished the USA tour in 2009 and they sold out every single venue.

    Clearly, they have failed massively.

  • totally it would seem they have no fans in th usa!!!(apparantly)!! haha liam or noel would not even care either way i don`t think lol!!!!

  • Nah, they are still trying had to make a bigger impact over there mate. Opening Oasis themed hotels in Vegas? Liam even visits Yoko Ono in New York with his long hair and Lennon glasses, as he knows that it will attract the US media.

On the bright side, if they had failed to crack America, why do they go out there and do sell tours and have crazed fans screaming outside their hotel? Robbie Williams tried and failed to get that US following. So did bands like Keane.

    The yanks love Oasis.

  • @HennoGarvey big difference between having "failed massively" and having "never made it"

  • @HennoGarvey

But seriously, EVERY VENUE IN FUCKING USA??

  • @HennoGarvey

    lol=)

the most strange thing that noone talks about them in US,thats fucking crap man

they are much much bigger then Miley Curys and all other bitches, come on

  • Thanks for posting this! See the difference one person can make? Fabulous!

  • YOU SUCK. die now

  • FOR BASSPLAYER1617 ..oasis have his own style of music ,this is the motive that his music is unique and in fact nobody sound like oasis although you copy the same riffs

  • they legends and this songis awesome but the vid sux cos the recording is bad

  • I find it annoying that American Talk Shows never interview their musical guests. Instead they do stupid interviews with lame B-list flash-in-the-pan truly personality devoid actors.

The only musical guest that I have ever seen on late night telelvision in America are shite ones like Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. How could they talk to them and NOT talk to an amazing talented guy like Noel Gallagher!

  • I wanna see Letterman interview Liam or Noel

  • that upload is terrible

  • Hola, soy Juano de Uruguay. Oasis es la mejor banda que escuche en mi vida, Noel es un genio de la musica.

  • idiota

  • to bassplayer1617

    WONDERWALL!!! BETTER THAN ANYFIN

THT PIECE OF WANK RADIOHEAD WILL EVER DO!!!!!

  • you've just said it....THAT TIME...XD...

But I Love Him Anyway !

  • Comment removed

  • Esta música é ótima!!!

  • Liam had such a great voice at that time....

  • David Letterman needs to bring Oasis back on his show.

  • oasis, the masters of live

  • and i find it extremely surprising that oasis fans are so goddamn that they find the need to insult classic artists such as bob dylan, rolling stones, even the BEATLES-all artists which are obviously influential to this piece of crap band. except these artists will be remembered for being some of the most influential of all time while oasis will only be remembered for being arrogant, asshole media whores

  • dude plz dnt sterio type im a huge beatles fan but an even bigger oasis fan. oasis will go dwn in history as 1 of the greates bands of all time possibly the greatest. rolling stones are amazing bob dylan is a legend, the beatles well they speak 4 themselves but saying oasis r crap and they will only be remembered as arrogent, asshole media whores is 1 of the most pathetic and untrue things i have ever read. personally i think the oasis have made better music than beatles but i still luv beatles

  • o yeah n ur a yank go bak n listen to ur shity boring yanky music. what decent bands r out in yankyland now..... erm none. british music is british music is better without a doubt.

  • ur an idiot. just because i'm american doesn't mean i like the crap on the radio right now. nearly all of my favorite bands are british u fuckwad. beatles, radiohead, pink floyd, led zeppelin etc. and to be fair america has some decent bands like pearl jam and kings of leon. and oasis will not go down as one of the greatest bands ever i can promise you that. maybe in the uk but noone else cares about them! and also i love how you tell me not to stereotype then go on and call me a yank you fag

  • ok i apologise 4 the yank thing there was no need 4 that. i was jus ranting coz its always americans who luv to slag off oasis n i dnt get why?? it jus winds me the way people normally cast there opinions on oasis coz of songs like wonderwall dont look back in anger and the rest of there commercial stuff but there b side stuff is better to be honest. nah america do have some awsome bands i have to admit pearl jam, matalica, guns n roses. r arctic monkeys popular in america?

  • its ok man, i just dont like oasis, plain and simple. and yeah arctic monkeys are awesome

  • thats fair enough if u dnt like them not every does. whats ur reason 4 not liking them im just interested to know why??

  • because i find them to be unoriginal, overrated and extremely repetetive. (ex. the choruses to this, "slide away" and "stop crying your heart out" greatly resemble each other) also the gallaghers are egotistical pricks who constantly diss other artists including radiohead and coldplay. i tend to favor artists who constantly evolve their sound like the beatles, pink floyd, radiohead, U2 and TV on the radio- a very underrated band. so....there you go.

  • i think they r pure entertainment n there needs to be more band out there like them. n dude evey album they have bought out is completely different so saying they havnt evolved there sound is bullocks, m8 im guessing u havnt listen to there albums through properly?? ( type in youtube 'maine road cast no shadow' sick tune. n also 'oasis gas panic' n listen to the jools holland 1) n wat do u mean by unoriginal???

  • dude by evolve i mean experiment, take risks. pretty much all of their stuff is commercial. and by unoriginal I mean that they use elements from other artists (beatles, rolling stones, t. rex) instead of being original

  • dude now ur talking bollocks sry but u r m8 pretty much all there stuff is commercial thats funny dude i suggest u learn more.

  • wow way to put a convincing argument. and explain how they are not a commerical band?

  • its not an argument its a disscusion m8. dude listen to there albums properly then make ur opinion. they r the best band of the 90s and they r still making shit hot tunes today. n dnt believe everything wat the media ses bout the gallaghers coz most of it is bollocks m8 n if u were an oasis fan u would no that. the media have created a image of the gallaghers n the reason why they r commercial is coz the media see that they r the biggest british band and wanna sell stories so they r under aneye.

  • dude the reason i'm not an oasis fan is because i've listened to their albums. definitely maybe is mediocre, whats the story is ok and the rest just completely suck. and there is absolutely no way they are the best band of the 90's, britain was just clamoring for a reincarnation of the beatles so they took these guys. the best band of the 90's is probably pearl jam, because theyre actually original and dont act like arrogant pricks who diss other bands just to get attention

  • il say what the other guys too polite to say, oasis kick the shit out of all the fag bands u have mentioned, radiohead are the most overrated pile of wank ever

  • haha ok. and how many radiohead songs have you even listened to?

  • and i guess ure saying the beatles are a "fag band" huh? oasis would probably beat the shit out of u for saying that. god....why are so many oasis fans such pricks...

  • coz we dont puss around, we like rock n roll, we aint trying to impress anyone by listening to radiohead, radiohead fans try to lord it over everyone, listening to them does not make you superior to anyone, it just makes u a wanker, go and listen to that shit and be depressed, slide away kicks the shit out of anything radiohead have ever done

  • who said i'm trying to impress anyone? people actually like radiohead for who they are. and my guess is that u have only listened to creep. and slide away sucks ass :)

  • Blow me doosch bag, creep is their only good tune! all radiohead fans suck my dick! oasis live forever!!!!!!

  • way to spell douche wrong u moron. oasis sucks. radiohead rules. its a fact not an opinion

  • pickin me up on my spellin, u fuckin wanker, u no wen uve lost an argument dont u? fuck off tossbag, go listen to creep pussy, il stick with slide away, il be at WEMBLEY STADIUM JULY 12TH IF U WANNA MEET UP FOR A FIGHT TO SETTLE OUR ARGUMENT NOBCHEESE

  • ahahaha no thanx you fucking white trash prick. stick to your simple minded oasis crap. and if you think creep is their only good tune you have not heard any of their other songs. get a life

  • in rainbows is woeful, radiohead are the most overated band ever. listen to floyd if you wanna hear proper progressive rock, not droopy eye yorke

  • its all subjective man. i love pink floyd as much as i love radiohead. i happen to find in rainbows a beautiful piece of work. tbh oasis is definitely the most overrated band of all time. at least in britain that is. definitely maybe and whats the story were named greates albums of all time above even the beatles, which is just absurd. the beatles influenced millions and displayed experimentation and mastery of the studio. oasis reuse riffs from the 70's, and have lyrics a 6 year old could write

  • i didn't say his droopy eye 'affects' his music. oasis are no were near my top 10 bands ever, along with the beatles, the who, stones, floyd, etc im just gettin annoyed at the amount of times i see radiohead fans dissing oasis for being generic. of course they're generic, but people like their melodic anthems, like other others appreciate radiohead's innovation, originality, etc kid A btw is a masterpiece. i just dont see the point in them having a go at oasis, whos first 2 albums are great

  • oh wow. ok i'm sorry. i just thought u were another one of those arrogant oasis fans who disses nearly every other band. and also, i didnt say that u said thom yorke's eyelid affects his music im just saying it was offensive and dint need to be said. btw, if u think radiohead r the most overrated band ever y did u call kid A a masterpiece?

  • i don't think radiohead are the most overated band ever, it was just a stupid outburst. kid A is a masterpiece, and i wouldn't dream of saying oasis write as good lyrics as the kinks, or beatles, etc but thats not what they're about, they dont aim to be innovative, they are just a rock and roll band, so i don't think they should be judged on how original or un-original they are, know what i mean?

  • true radiohead are fantastic and are completely different compared with oasis

  • radiohead are for betwetters

  • i think you mean bed wetters

  • thats the fella.

  • im sorry but your analysis of noels songwriting tells me that you prefer to get all arsey about music rather than actually enjoy it. for what it's worth some, in fact the VAST VAST VAST MAJORITY of the best songs ever written use lyrics a 6 year could write and pentatonic riffs...there is something about songs which makes them more than the some of their parts, otherwise bozos like you and i could probably pen hits. anyone can see that noel gallagher possesses this magic in an albeit raw form

  • i supose well have to disagree. theres just one point which destroys your whole analysis however and that is the wholly organic interplay between noels voice and his sentiments

  • wat the fuck are you talking about?

  • nothing that an uptight cunt like youself could comprehend....take a chill pill

  • i guess so. well im gonna get back to my life instead of arguing with a 26 year old who obviously doesnt have one ofr his own.

  • huh? i dont like van halen paticularly that much, im more into bands like beatles, the who floyd, radiohead, u2 and sigur ros. and the pimples thing.....seriously?

  • and to call thom yorke droopy eyed is just irrelevant. how does his physical apperance affect his music? idiot

  • see u been exposed as one of them typical wanker radiohead fans who call everyone who find them boring simple, think there somethin special, intellectual, just a plain fuckin upper class twat, bet u like libertines u queer

  • alright learn english, maybe i'll take ur opinion into consideration retard. and oasis are so pathetic they stole a melody from a coca cola jingle. case closed fag

  • u r such a wanker, real top draw tosser, mark ronson, case closed. radiohead are queer, ur queer, get a life u sad depressed upperclass twit. bet ur shit at bass:-)

  • hahaha dude ur such a faggot. u continue to say that radiohead suck but u cannot come up with one good reason why. and then u call me shit at bass even though u have never even heard me play. at least i play an instrument. and all of your comebacks consist of calling me a "twit" or "wanker". not to mention your username is "bustafool". my guess is that youre trying to act tough over the internet despite the fact your a pussy in real life. ah, how sad

  • i find radiohead extremely boring if im being honest, i cant seem to get a word in with any of their fans who are always upper class snobs, and who the fuck says i cant play an instrument, i play guitar, mandolin and piano, no lies, im the real deal

  • alright man no worries. thats ur opinion. but tbh i'm not an upper clas snob at all. i like plenty of other rock bands like the beatles, zeppelin, the who etc. i can see why youd find them to be boring tho.

  • soz, hope you no i just love slaggin radiohead fans off, they get so pissed. i love zep, who, beatles. i love oasis because i was 6 when their first 2 albums came out, i know every song because they were so big then and i grew up with the music, i also love bands like levellers and pogues, hence the mandolin. i love guitar but will never be a radiohead fan, i like creep though. hate bands like libertines and hate posh music wannabees

  • mate you should reassess your views on the first libertines album...definitely maybe got me into music, and ive never been mad for the mainly minor key moany vocals of thom yorke but up the bracket was the best album since definitely maybe in my opinion, by a british band anyhow...im not a big fan of the middle classes then again im not to fond of the working classes either

  • hahaha all true

  • atleast oasis will never let a talentless cunt like mark ronson bastardise their songs! case closed poshboy

  • and when the hell did i say american music was better than british music? haha dumb prick

  • fuck off oasis haters, go listen to fucking rolling stones

  • i can't believe the number of people here in youtube jealous of the success of oasis and hating them for that.

  • lmao @ letterman's comments at the end...

"you guys wanna fight(each other)or anything?"

    LOL

  • Oasis wrote more meaningful songs than rolling stones ever did....I havent´read anything so funny in a long long time!!!:-) good joke

  • The Rolling stones never wrote a meaningful song, just nonsense.

  • So don't pay attention to it, get rid of it, forget about it, strike it out of your life. No masochism :)

  • 1:48 Noels Gibson Les Paul Custom Silver/Glitter Top.

    I love that guitar!

  • hope they make an appearance on the Late show this time around, maybe next year? HOPEFULLY!!!

  • tony quit alan said he couldnt cope with the prssure and wanted ou and starkey just said to noel ' i think i have taken it as far as possible but if youre ever in dyer need ring me' now chris sharrock is in doing a stirling job nothing to do with not being good enough, like the stones love oasis

  • your spelling is so bad that it makes me want to bury you under 18 Scrabble boards.

  • yeah haha i get it, the whole 2 posts at once thing messed me up.

i meant i respected your post, obviously i cant respect you as a person seeing as we havent met or talked about anything other than your questionable music taste.

his singing actually is not bad in that song, but the studio can do that to a voice. look at ashley simpson. live is the real test, a test liam obviously fails consistantly.

  • I wanna quote someone unknown who wrote this: Oasis lyrics are the best, most meaningful and to the point. Real people can relate to the universal lyrics about things that affect all humans. -

That's why they are best, not only in my oppinion. The Beatles are crap, they were out of tune etc but they had width and they inspired Oasis to make better songs than themselves. But the goal of Oasis isn't to strive for width, but depth with attractive appeal. This appeal is GOOD SOUND

  • random persons quote- i dont give a fuck, he could have been a 7 year old donkey for all i know

i understand that people like oasis, but people also like britney spears. numbers arent everything.

the beatles were AMAZING musicians i dont know what you are talking about. out of tune? do you know music? lennon and mccartney are great singers, mccartney is a bass legend.

  • "i understand that people like oasis, but people also like britney spears. numbers arent everything."

So if numbers aren't everything, would you agree that you have to argue for the sake of the Beatles and their music, instead of telling me how great the band members were and how many records they sold? (I've heared that a MILLION times)

  • exactly! i believe that the beatles are a fantastic band, fame and records aside. they live up to the hype, something that oasis used to do but are unable to do any more in my opinion

  • did they? I've heared that Beatles stopped doing tours because of the hysteria and the girls hiding in their rooms, or some crazy shit like that. They did I'm the Walrus to piss people off, that's why Oasis did cover of it, to stand up with a straight face to the world and say: I don't give a shit what you think of us!

  • haha i love how many thumbs down im getting from oasis fan boys.

yeah, cant blame the beatles at all though eh? after 4 years i dont think i would be able to keep it up either. especially because i think musicians are far more protected and secretive these days.

i think IATW was more of a "fuck you" to people who over-analized beatles music. i dont know why oasis has to say "we dont give a shit" to a media and fanbase that has been so good to them. can you clarify that?

  • Don't care for the thumbs down. The system of YouTube SUCKS ASSSS and it's not important, what counts is our dialogue. I hate YouTube and it's annyoing thumbs-down-up system! It's never fair anyways and you haven't wrote very offensive stuff.

  • Hey I can't see any thumbs down when I reload this page of the video...did you lie?

Media and fanbase been so good to them? You've said this

"in recent years the gallaghers have embarassed themselves publicly and released the same sound over and over"

so if ppl like yourself think they embarass themselves, that's the message they want to send out with IATW

  • haha well if you add up the ratings from all my comments on this video, im a -15 haha.

yeah ok i see where you're coming from there. a "fuck you" to the people who say they are acting improper.

i still dont know how good of a statement that is considering its a mild beatles song, but yeah i see what they were going for.

  • im not arguing with you hombre, im actually quite calm. however, you have stated that oasis songs have little/no meaning. you just stated that they also arent good for partying too. what exactly is their purpose?

  • Most of the songs are hard rock ballads, like something about getting out of town and start a new life etc, most of them just happens to be about real life and common feelings. Some songs are confusing, first album was about being penniless on the dole and on drugs

  • alright i respect that. i guess maybe i just dont understand their stuff because im not from the uk and im not "middle class working folk" or whatever that poster above wrote. i commented to try to see what you people get out of oasis' music and now i know, thanks.

  • listening to and enjoying it, if we like Oasis whats the problem?
