Is it just a coincidence that both teams are from the LA area, or was it fixed liked this. If I was incharge, I'd send a Canadian Team at least and a few Tragically Hip songs here and there.
LA Kings and Anaheim Ducks are two bitter cross town rivals. When those two teams meet it makes for interesting games.
As for sending a Canadian team, well most of the players in the NHL are Canadian so it wouldn't really make a difference weather the team is based in the US or Canada.
Obviously this is a Ducks fan submission. Yes the Ducks won the second game of the London Premiere, bu the Ducks lost the first game in London by the same score.
I actually was happy when the announcer said the lights didn't work.. It was an opportunity to sit in that beautifull stadium for 15 minutes longer ;)
