Hi I broke my Asus EEEPC 1005 PEB 10.1 inch screen. I want to buy the screen online, but I am confused because I am not sure the screen wil fit in or not. Can any1 tell me are all the 10.1 ich for asus are same or not? Please that will be a huge favour. Or atleast can someone tell me the part/ model number of the lcd screen in it.?

the lenox version does not utilize the multi touch. if i get the lenox version and wipe it and put on windows xp, can i utilize all multi touch functions then?

The only thing putting me off from buying this is the hard drive space. I mean seriously, 8 gb? I don't even know if all my apps will fit on that space, let alone 1 movie or any mp3s. If there were some way to get it to 60 or 100 gb of space, I would buy this.

You can get one with a bigger hard drive but it won't be flash memory like the 8gb and 16gb ones.

I bought mine on Amazon. It was only 367 for the pearl colored. It was also great because amazon has such a great return policy and if anything happens to it they are more reasonable then retail stores.

I would take Ubuntu, as the Xandros system that is installed has been designed for 8-year olds. And I wouldn't take XP for anything. Well mabye some things, but I prefer Linux and OS X over Windblows.

the 901 is the best for what u will need it for, but the eee pc 1000h which is now available is also better than the 901 because of the bigger screen, keyboard, hardrive. 901 or 1000h ! :D enjoy

jkk i have the 900 16g and yes it is slow with xp on it and im not a big fan of xandros's deb package restrickions and the fack that they sell linux (but thats another story). could you refer me to a site or send me a link that tells me how to tweak the 16g in xp? and do you have the link for the driver updates for the track pad. If you could i would be very grateful.
