"darekaga kore wo yaraneba naranu " is "Somebodys Gotta Do It"　of course "it" means "SAVE OUR MOTHER EARTH"

How ever what I really would like to know is what the basic form om yaraneba or yaranakereba is! And then figur out how to bend it. Of course, we didn't get "Space Battleship Yamato", We got an edited, rescripted, and watered down "Starblazers". Still, for the time it was a great show, but now that I can see the real thing I can sense there's more meaning to the story than what I saw in 1979.

Actually, this song is largely considered the second Japanese National Anthem since the late 70's.
