I'd really like some sporatic intensity again like alison hell in the future, and perhaps a young vocalist full of energy with a bit of a different voice. I think the vocalists he's been choosing have all been very similar since randy (pharr an exception) and just feel.. i don't know. tired.. processed. they dont leap out at me. I think Vektor's "outer isolation' album would be a great example of what's been missing from annihilator since debut

Megadeth is awesome and Metallica is ok (first four albums are amazing though) but Annihilator shouldn't be left out. They are definitely a band that should have gotten more recognition a long time ago.

Something sounds strange with this album, I'm guessing the production wasn't as good or something, the instruments don't sound as powerful as they sounded on say albums Carnival Diablos or Alice in Hell. The instrument playing is just as good, it just sounds off.

@azmanabdula No, it hasn't changed. What people call "emo" now ranges from everything from metalcore to pop-punk. It's just a label now given to anything that might show "emotion". I'm obviously older than you are, because I saw some real emocore bands playing live when they were semi big (bands like Orchid) in the 80s and early 90s. Emo =/= emotional. emo = emotive hardcore. Songs talked about dreams and surreal experiences and the like.

Still enjoy deathcore. Not much is any good, though.
