I agree with the man in the blue shirt at 1:34. The administrators of this school are so worried about distraction, but HOW do certain patterns, logos, etc. cause distraction? To me, it seems the superintendent is confusing showing the midriff and baggy pants between stripes and "small green alligators". If I'm not mistaken, Richmond is an Elementary school. What's a 7-year old girl gonna do, come to class in a bikini? Overall, I believe that is ridiculous and I understand why parents are mad.

The people dont understand, they have control, it is there school. They should all keep there kids home untill they agree to reverse there dress code, and come to a more realistic agreement. If the kids are not there, then the school will not get paid.
@gdog00187 Parents are required by law to send their children to school until the age of 16, when they are allowed to drop out. Until then, parents can be held legally responsible and will be punished... So unfortunately, that wouldn't work. =/

This school should employ uniforms. But I don't think they would have an impact on bullying or people paying attention. People are bullied because they act or look strange, just because everyone looks alike does not ensure that kids will pay attention. Also, uniforms are more expensive than normal clothes. So what are the other arguments for uniforms? Oh, they're easier than picking our normal clothes. How hard is it to pick out clothes for the day? That's the most pathetic excuse I've heard.
