I've just got one of these kits and I'm not sure about it, as I can hear the banging of the actual stick against the pads louder than the electronic sounds - am I doing something wrong? the snare is really quiet, and the hi hat control is almost silent.

Then you have to turn the volume up :D In my video you can't hear the hitting sound of the pads because I put the line-out of the kit directly into the line-in of my computer when I recorded. I guess there is no way to make the pads completely silent. Pump up the volume ! :D
It would definately be better than the mps-400 I guess. The mps-400 has 2 cymbals, 3 toms, 1 snare and 1 hi-hat pad ... and bass-drum off course. The mps-600 has more features and sounds, but I didn't try it yet... I think you can't make anything wrong for this price. What do to want to do with the e-drum? Just practicing?
ne umgekehrt, des war kurz nachm Pennen :D Ich muss mal ein aktuelleres Video machen, ich hatte zu dem Zeitpunkt keine double-bass-maschine da, da kann man dann immer nich soviel anstellen :D
You can also play with an amplifier I guess, but I didn't try yet. I only use it with headphones. That's how it comes with the set. there's no amplifier included.
yeah, butit doesn't work pretty good in my opinion, furthermore is your hi-hat sound missing then :-P But the bass-drum-pad offers enough space for a double-bass pedal anyway ;-)
is the question not already answered here somewhere? (take a look upwards!!!), however, yes it's possible but it's nonsense because you can not use a hi-hat then.
well some hits don't come through, but it depends on how hard you hit when you play fast and it's only the hi hat which is a little woolly (I hope the word is right). I have no problems with playing metal stuff and "yes" there is enough space for double bass. I think I will upload a more metalish video soon :-)
Im getting my first electric drum kit. The one i seen is a Millenium MPS-100. The review looked good, and my parents dont wanna pay much more than £250. Is it a good kit to have as my first???
in comparison, the mps-400 would of course be better than an mps-100. It depends on what you wanna do with the drumkit. Is it your first drumkit ever? and how long do you play drums now? The mps-400 offers stuff the mps-100 doesn't have (stereo cymbal pads, choke, more sounds etc.)
hey. I have a few questions about this kit because I'm about to buy one just like this. This kit includes the drum module? And do I have to buy a monitor or something? If the module is included how many types of instruments are there? And can you tell me a bit about the Millenium MPS - 400? thanx
You could buy a monitor if you want but I only use headphones. They are included as far as you take the mps-400 in the set how it's offered. The module is of course included as well. I don't know exactly how many sounds it has, but you should get information on the site or in the shop or whereever you want to buy it. In general this drumkit is pretty cool for practicing and stuff but not more. I wouldn't use it for live performance or something. But it's worth the money :-)
You should be able to link the e-drum to the computer with a usb/midi cable and then play it with the sounds of ezdrummer etc., but I haven't tried it yet.
ive had in mind to do that.. but with addictive drums.. its the greatest drum vst ever.. and if you know how to get it cheap (rolleyes) then you should use it.

Wie laut sind die e-drums unverstärkt, also rein akustisch zu hören? Taugt es wirklich als Ersatz echter Drums in einer Mietwohnung?

how is the "action" ? does it lagg at all?
i mean, is there any delay in sound when you play or is it good?
do you know if you could put the drums via a computer with plugins? to get other sounds and such.
