@3DPlanets Randomness by hand is fun too - just a bit more time consuming. Even if you don't model asteroids you can use the tutorial for how to use scripts in Anim8or.

v0.97d has attributes. Download the latest beta and you should have them.

i just got anim8or so i could make a model of a dazzle capture card

but im used to blender for my 3-d modeling

is there a way i can get the file from that and move it over to here?

Ok now seriously hehe, good tutorial.

maybe it's easier to just use a geosphere instead of a icosahedron.
