This rendition can be found on the Tallis Scholars' Silver Jubilee Album. Here is a translation of the Latin text: "In the midst of life we are in death; of whom may we seek help but you, O Lord, who for our offences are justly displeased? Yet, O God most holy, O holy and mighty, O holy and merciful Saviour, give us not over unto bitter death. Cast us not away in the time of our old age; forsake us not, O Lord, when our strength fails us. Yet, O God most holy..."
In some "for fun" games against the AI i would not advance to the classical era just so i could listen to the breathtaking songs in Medieval era. Stunning songs all through this game n e way.
Thank you very much for the uploads mate. Cheers!
This is an absolutely gorgeous piece of music. If you like it, you'll never want it to end. Considering that it goes on for over 20 minutes, sometimes it seems like it won't end =).
FINALLY found it! Of course the last thing I checked. Thanks so much for posting this, it's been stuck in my head all day and was beginning to think I'd never find out what it is.

@Numtalegau you can change which folders of music are played for which era, so that you can have medieval music all through the game if you want :-)

It's the one by the Tallis Scholars. Unmistakable trebles, and I think I can even spot Charles Daniels in the tenors...
