the anime is yami no matsuei. It's about well a place where souls go when they die to be juged. The main character Tsazuki and his partner Hisoka are sjikagmi or angels of death who investagates super natural deaths. The seires is 13 episodes long and is a shouen (sp?) ai which is more male bonding, not like youai where they kiss. Search and I'm sure you'll find it!
