The loopouts you speak of are called Prominence and this will make the spots on the sun. Soon another identical sunspot will pair up and once this has established then solar flares or coronal mass ejections will occur from there.

No more internet,radio, ... Only reading books by candlelight and the sound of frustrated thugs roaming the neighbourhood looking for the next buzz... Groups of people will band together forming social networks based on talking, conversing and kindness

lol, that would definately have a huge impact on society. i hope thats just it, tv's turning off, etc. that would probably cause people to starve because they will not be able to conserve foods lol, that would suck. but it would definately alter the way people think.

You make it sound so wonderful, I really want to believe that! And hopefully, a shift in global consciousness will happen exactly like that.

But aren't most people TOO hooked on these drugs? Will there be insatiable junkies, rioting, going through withdrawal symptoms from the almighty Tee Vee? To some people, TV (and such) is all there is.

Try to make THOSE people talk, converse and be kind - they're reliant on passive entertainment because that's all they know!
