He was pawn that was manipulated but that is not not the way he is going to exit the series, i guarantee it. He began his slippery slope to his demise when he started to not follow his gut instinct and began to blindly follow the island , which he believed to be all knowing and grand. When he realizes that he was manipulated and fooled and his destiny was unimportant and begins following his own will, we're' going to see a very different John Locke. "Don't tell him what he can do". Clues r there
