  • it has a 3.5 liter the engine is solid doesnt even have a timing belt just a chain very very reliable engine. you can easily make it a bi-turbo...and the car will handle it with ease...i had a 535i (e34)1989 5spd in black the engine in 635 is almost similar..by the way my 535i actually got a 43hp increase if chipped its was quite a shock...bought the chip from a bmw dealer-dinan chip

  • I love the look of the E24. Seems like you got one of the faster ones.... :)

But you rear suspension looks soft when you floor the pedal to the metal! :)

  • practicly wheelieing

  • ill race you for pinks with my M635 buddy, no bullshit. your mustang would do SHIT on a track. get over yourself, get a real car and stop bein such an internet bad ass. pick the track.

  • Mustangs are complete horseshit on the track and with anything that involves cornering. Even their quality is massively lacking. I love my BMW L6.

  • @Sixdown88

Any car using an archaic stiff rear axle that looks as if designed in the 1930's, puts it into a "modern car" in order to save money for ease of manafacture and low-tech, and calls it a "sports car", doesn't belong to be mentioned. That's the Mustang for you.

The reason they sell is because most buyers only look at them from the outside and are immediately impressed.

  • God Almighty, I have a standard 635CSi here in the UK, but I didn't think it was possible to make it into a bi-turbo!! The power coming out of that thing looks almost too much for the chassis to handle!

  • try googling for BMW Alpina B10 bi-turbo.

it uses basically the same M30 block as your e24 635csi...

  • Aha, but the B10 bi-turbo was left-hand-drive only. It would probably be impossible to make it fit a UK right-hand drive car. Interesting idea, though!

  • mechanical masterpiece! 5 stars

  • i have a 86 635csi/a, but i cant find parts for it anywhere. ive been looking for a e24 turbo for almost 8 months now. anybody know where i can find one?

  • Yes. Google "turbochargingdynamics"

  • you are a god. thanks man!

  • No, this porsche have aprox. 250HP

  • I'm a Bimmer fan but in this case I cannot be proud of beating poor untuned 40 year-old 911The race wasn't just fair. Don't you think so?

  • 2,4 L carrera engine approx 230HP,

But it not help to mine 530HP/667Nm

twin 16T turbo, ported mira, EFI tech enginesystem, Turbo camshaft, 700ccm injectors...

  • 635CSI TWIN TURBO KILLED IT!
