  • Man, I love this game. This game is why I haven't sold my old Sega.

  • oh god I LOVED this game. This was the only beat-em-up I ever really got into.

  • Gotta love games where you play as super heroes beating up girls on their way to school. Punch for punch you would actually die first though. Accuracy

  • Who's the real devil here, Carnage? or Spiderman thrashing up Girl Scouts.

  • 1:48 <----- I've had that stuck in my head for years and years, and still pops into my head sometimes! This was one of the best soundtracks of any game ever made even to date IMO. It's just pure, unadulturated ownage throughout the entire game! And the game itself was awesome too! I don't think I ever beat it, but I can't remember. I know at the very least I've gotten to Carnage before! =D

  • @Owntmeal1313 Btw, where I pointed out, is that a real song, or was that only made for this game? I'd lovveeeee to hear it played with real instruments!!

  • Carnage is the ultimate insanity.

  • Holy fuck! I completely forgot about this game. I saved up Kool-Aid points for like a year to buy this game from their catalogue!

  • I swear, the bass line for the boss battle music, I've heard it in so many other songs that I've lost track. All I know is, whenever I hear a "real" song that has it, I always think back to this game since I heard it in this game first.

  • oh spiderman punch those pony tailed bitches in the face...i thought spiderman didn't hit women i guess i was wrong

  • Does anyone know if the beat that starts at 1:11 is actually a full song? I have always loved that beat and played the game just to listen to it. I would love to have the full track to that. Thanks a bunch.

  • 2:57 "I'm Broken" by Pantera? lol

  • @loserbrett

yeah indeed :p wasn't this game released before pantera,if that ain't so then this game it's music might be one pretty good cliche.i hear famous metal/hard rock theme beeing trown around in this entire game.mob rules completly ripped indeed pantera some black sabbath stuff,if you don't know this you'd have a pretty nice game with some pretty good music.

  • Yep, it is the only good LJN game.

Really challenging but it isn't stupid difficulty like most of the others LJN games.

  • behold the only good LJN's game

  • Actually I learned something interesting. According to Jason Pullara (LordKat) of Until We Win fame, LJN was just the publisher of many of the shitpie games that bore their logo, like most of the abominations on the NES which he found were actually made by beloved developer Rare.

  • @bazzjedimaster A good LJN game?? I thought it was only a legend! 0_o

  • I remember playing this game back in the day, but I don't remember the soundtrack rocking as hard as it does. Badass.

  • My mom didn't want me to play this game because the music was to heavy and the devil was in it LOLZ.

  • LMFAO!!! Im glad my people was free spirited, lol jk

  • Great upload, truly.

but you should have included the song from the third level "roof top".

    thanks.

  • damn this brings back memories ty for upload

  • Pure perfection and best SNES and Genesis game EVER!

  • The heavy rock music in this game was incredable thats probably one of the main reasons why I played this game and I also loved beat em up games like this and final fight battletoads etc.

  • I still am a big fan of the opening song...the first boss song (with the two chicks) and the song when you go looking for the sonic gun to fight carnage with......I think it's the second time you go to the Fantastic 4 Lab/Base. I was the level part right before fighting the giant robo-ape

  • 0:43 that melody is so memorable to me!!! its fuckin bad ass

  • Never trust a RAVING LUNATIC!!!!

  • I could just break down in tears over how awesome garudoh's channel is.

  • Few games rocked this fucking hard back in the day.

  • God this brings back some great memories

  • man I loved this game, played for hours when I was 5

  • Youre right dude...the whole soundtrack is made from other metal songs. Including one part of it is song the mob rules by james dio....check it out and ull see what I mean.

  • I do see, good ear!

  • the intro is the BEST

  • Are these songs remakes of Green Jelly? Because they have slight resemblance to Pantera - for instance 2:52 onwards- sounds like 'I'm Broken' and 4:49 onwards sounds like 'Hard Lines, Sunken Cheeks'.

  • You're right but "Hard Lines, Sunken Cheeks" is actually at 5:49.

  • Hands down one of the greatest games ever made!!!. PERIOD!!! awsome music..some of the best 16 bit tracks ever!!!

  • ahhhh, the 90's. The hight of beat em up games. This game just reeked of greatness.

  • You said it EmoSlayer! Good name BTW. Hey, you remember a game on N64 called fighting force 64? That was an awesome game!

  • dude, im a collector of all N64 games. the only thing i hated about one of the series, was banjo kazooie. childish, and it's cuteness turned some gamers off, but they missed sublime controls. anyway, what sucked is that the series was never actually finished. by that, the secret eggs and the ice key were supposed to have a connection between the 2 games, but they never finished it, making the games incomplete. how do i know this? my bro and i have done all possible things to finish it,never have

  • The best music Green Jello ever made was on a video game. Somehow ironic...

  • Lol my friend let me borrow his Ipod which has some SNES emulator on it and the first game I played was this :P I was used to playing the Sega version but oh well. An awesome game, is an awesome game no matter the console.

  • i got the genesis version. . .though on the genesis version, the music on there sounds a bit muddy compare it to the SNES version.

  • I love the genesis versions music :( Nah I'm just kidding. But seriously though I do love the Sega version more. And that includes the music. The SNES version had the cleaner sounding music, and that's not really my thing...

  • uooou !super nintendo is very cool!!

  • carnage rocks!!!!!!!!

  • this game kicked SOOOO much ass.

  • FUCK YEA!! Just been sessioning this game for a while, and i never realised how 'Pantera-esque' the music was! I swear, Dimebag must have composed most of those little midi riffs & guitar solos lol.

    cheers for uploading dude

  • actually the entire song was made by Green Jelly. Look up Green Jelly - Carnage Rules.

  • man is there a way i can get the mp3???

  • Can you play anything besides Spiderman? I don't really like him. I would rather play as Venom or Doctor Octoganopus. (just kidding)

  • If I remember correctly, you first get the option to play as Venom about halfway through the game. In the sequel "Separation Anxiety" you could play as Venom from the outset.

  • That intro song kicks ass!!! thanks for posting ;)

  • If you check the Brutal Legends game, you'll hear the Maximum Carnage music kinda changed up! I thought that was AWESOME! (you'll see my post! XD)

  • Oh, I could only imagine if this song was played on a real guitar and drum set. God, that'd be amazing.

  • I Agree 110%.

  • This music was pretty fucking hardcore for it's time. I remember playing it like crazy when I was, like, 13?

  • Yep. It's on the cartridge which I still own. This game is impossible as hell to beat.

  • it really is tho haha

  • it can be done tho i beat it a couple of times but it wasnt able to for a long time

  • Didn't Green Jelly do the soundtrack for this game?

  • Yuh-huh. That's some freaking obscure trivia right there, I'm surprised anyone remembered that. Have a cookie with that beer man. :P

  • Sad part: I actually still HAVE the Green Jelly CD, 333, which I got when the game first came out. Very...interesting band...

  • It must have been advertised on the box or cartridge because I also remember hearing that.

  • Green Jelly is proof that one good song is all it takes to live forever... in Obscurity... I look forward to seeing them eventually on VH1's "I love the 90's"

  • And yet you actually think they were popular enough to warrant a VH1 episode...

  • Not really, they would be the guys with the 15 second interview talking about how great it was "Back in the day" They will be on right after Hal Sparks... whoever the hell he is anyways. :)

  • I LOVED Green Jelly when I was a kid. "Three Little Pigs" was one of the coolest videos ever

  • can u believe that they got back together and are now on tour?

  • That is the awesomest and stupidest thing i have ever heard all at once! LOL

  • lol

  • yea they are crazy lol

but their music for this game freakin' rocks!!

  • Hard to forget that little logo at the beginning, isn't it?

Plus 3 little pigs is an awesome and unforgettable song..

  • @superdrunk4life indeed he did
