  • the moment he mentioned "50000 years" I knew he was free of religion! lol

  • i found this video and I tell you, I was like a found a treasure,

JK will try to bring the light in a den of rats, (sorry rodents )

All of these organizations are born out of fear and desires,

and that's why they will fail.

please tell everyone about this video.

    thank you for uploading it.

  • He needs to go viral

  • And here we are 26 years later.... The United Nations have yet to bring peace or unification through their orginization... Wars still rage at every corner of the world... The future is but a modified past repeating itself. If there is no change in another 26 years then ignorance obviously means more to humanity than mother nature. What have we all become?

  • USA, please Listen to the Man. Implies to all the nations though.

  • ele foi DEUS NA TERRA

  • 50,000 Krish,,,, come on man. Try Millions Sir. Peace.

  • What a marvelous discovery! Thanks for posting! It will be resonating in facebook and singing by the twitter. tweet tweet tweet.

Message or teaching is but nothing more than sign posts. If elephant is running down the hill do you heed the call saying get out of the way? Are you listening to the call? Must you not be silent to listen? If don't can't listen you will be trampled to pieces and ask why does this happens to me.

  • What he is saying in internet terminology is that content is important. Neither Killings in case of Assange and Manning thus shooting the messenger nor worshiping the image of god whether ancient or 20th century wise man Krishnamurti can reveal the truth. We can not forge truth out of steel rubble of 9/11, Nor any belief, faith, following blindly in sacred books lead to that is new. It is not written. It is created new without causation. No past means means no self. Observe and let it be.

  • They don't listen.

  • i think its kinda ironic we fight about religion. Since we all worship the SAME "God" or watever you wanna call him. Unfortunately our cups runneth over with hate, and now in a-stan we are still killing and punishing the people who planned 9/11 and other cowardly acts. More 50 caliber now! NOW!!! Here they come again!!! And men die. In the endgame we will leave and the talibs will return. Unless we start dropping into Pakistan. Where they hide....

  • We are so rude. Watched how the man dealt with K's microphone?

  • thecrystalkid - You miss my point. I am asking why we cannot live together not whether anyone - mystic or otherwise - is here to help anyone else. Following a religious figure (Jesus, Mohamed, Buddha, Glen Beck) is silly on it's face, as K pointed out repeatedly. My question stands. Does the universe (god if you like) care one way or another if people exist or not? And if not, should anyone care?

  • @ujean56 We cannot live together, because society is structured to divide us. The social elite that make our laws, gave us our religion, our nationalist ideals & money, sit and laugh at the control they have obtained. Until we eliminate their ultimate tool... money; we will forever remain at war, be forced into servitude & divided by religion. There is only one earth, we are one people, until we all agree that all the earth belongs to everyone, we will never live together. Youtube Jacque Fresco

  • @danz177 Second that!

    Youtube Peter Joseph Social Pathology

  • Yes, why can we not live together? Is there any hope? Is Jesus really the only one to save us? Is Mohamed the one? Is it the Buddha? Does it even matter to the universe whether or not we survive?

  • @ujean56 i don't feel that they wre/are here to "help" us...that would make them the authority, the guru. it's for the individual to be serious and undo the mess in their life. i find that true mystics don't advise or help but point out the obstacles and in seeing these or the false the other then is...or has space to be...perhaps!

  • yes! here i totally agree. I was judgemental

  • Excuse me, could any of you write down what the speakers said? It would be easier for me to translate into Spanish. Thanx!

  • He is a prophet.

A real Prophet, a lotus in the mud pool.

Osho, Jiddu Krishnamurthy, Ramana Maharshi, Mahatma Gandhi are the true prophets of our times.

I feel blessed to be in the same time and space as they have been.

  • Please dont do this to except mr gandhi, all others are very simple ordinary guys

  • it is sad to know that most ppl don't know who this man is, and yet they know other men who are nothin compare to this one.

  • What a brilliant, clear, authentic mind he was!

I can only admire a mind like that.

  • very sorry to hear that a mind here which was an absolute absence in that being. What a big misunderstanding

  • @ranjithbeing

Hi, You are judging a "No-Mind" with "your Mind" which is basically what the enlightened men want you to drop and live in the moment "Here and Now" to its fullest extent.

  • "Pace in Terra" : Peace on Earth

  • so is he suggesting one world government?

one religion? or(what i am hoping) evolving to the point we need neither government nor religion?.......

  • Yes. When humans become intelligent enough, we need no authority which tells us what to do or can't do. We need no money, as the sharing of resources will be simple, as we will all have more than we need. We will do what we believe is right and that will probably be what others also believe is right if we ask them.

  • That's all what I am saying in my books. Thank you K for this wonderful speech before the United Nations. I am continuing your teaching, while you never endorsed me, but I don't need it. I can pursue my own way, in full accordance with your wistful teaching which is simply, truth.

  • @ipublica You can not continuiing his teaching as long as you think about 'endorsement', Go your own way man and don't try to be wise.

  • what does parchment terrace mean?

  • @KarthikSoun peace on earth

  • @KarthikSoun I think he said "pace in terris"

  • murtis says is right at the beginning of his speech

  • @KarthikSoun "Parchem in terris" (might be spelled incorrectly) - I think it's Latin for "peace on earth."

  • @KarthikSoun I just found this. Pacem In Terris. ENCYCLICAL OF POPE JOHN XXIII

ON ESTABLISHING UNIVERSAL PEACE IN TRUTH, JUSTICE, CHARITY, AND LIBERTY

APRIL 11, 1963 - sorry about the capital letters, too lazy to write it out. So it's something to do with the Catholic Church and Pope John 23rd about peace and truth etc

  • if you want world peace just watch yourself,,thinking working playing,,it is that simple.

  • 'Thought is conflict - Awareness breeds Compassion'

  • We are led to believe that our neighbours care more about ''Entertainment Tonight'' than what is real and what is now but we are neighbours ourselves. So let's not deceive us. We, who are watching this video now, are interested in the faith of humanity, of what we've become, are we not ? Then let us not be distracted by illusions that our neighbors are more concerned about TV or the weather channel. We are many to care. It is overwhelming but that is not what we are lead to believe.

  • everyone try to complicate all K said.. why? 2 men.. 1 peace of bread.. = 2 options!! 1- kill them selfs for that peace of food.. 2- share it!! WHAT IT´S GONNA BE??? thats the root of conflict, of all conflicts... animal live instinclty , we can share without kill ourself!! THATS FACT!! from that basic needs comes fear not to be! how can i trust him not to kill me instead to share that peace of bread?? is´nt it sad??? crazy world..

  • it is funny that youtube doesnt work when there is something important coming... but when it is about obama or power puff girls.... it streams like greased lightning..

  • i agree !! it`s even more amazing that people are more concernd about all the hoolywood puppets as they are for they oun neibours!!! sad sad..bad bad!

  • What a blessing that there are other Americans who embrace such a beautiful thing as self awareness. I am very happy to be here in this moment! HAHA

  • I guess the title 'world teacher' was given to him by Teosofians(Leadbeater and Besant) who believed him to be avatar of the new age. MR. JK was taken by the teosofians at very early age, in order to indoctrinate him into teosofian belief - luckily it failed and JK later renounced all those fancy titles, yet somehow he still lived out that role as he spoke great teachings. One should really listen to what he has to say.

  • The best video ever!!!! Thank you!

  • I came to this scpeech following Alex Jones's preposterous claims that Mr Krishnamurti 'travelled around as the Christ of the UN'. This is of course ridiculous as Krishnamurti was not a religious man at all... well, I don't need to rant anyone with rationality can see how silly such an accusation is.

  • 4:09

  • Just Listen.

  • a religious war, holy war.. or. "jihad" is nothing more than a war of insecure belief, money, and land. No religion is involved only in the fact of creating a "team" if you will. And that is what religion has evolved into... a social identity that is used as a reason to kill, displace, and injure the countless thousands of innocent lives. that seek to appeal to the system they were unfortunately born into.

  • Its all made up...

Go to the people of the world and ask them... none of them wants war.. they all want peace..

  • they all want peace.. espetialy all well payed soldiers who kills ONLY and just for money and they own amusement!! you stupid stupid idiot...

  • I not sure if you're joking around or not, but it sounds like you don't really want peace either!

  • it was a response to SuperTigerclaws... i´m certenly not jokin´ around!!! when i say that out there are well payed soldiers who kill for money or for so called patriotism does´nt mean that i aprove that!! how old are you?? 12?? but think about it.. in a certain situation all of us would have to fight.. if you attackt personaly! but NOT FOR YOUR COUNTRY!!

  • I meant I wasn't sure if you were joking around by calling someone a 'stupid stupid idiot,' and if you're seriously saying that, then I suspect that you're heart isn't peaceful. That's all. I was unclear.

  • the world needs to change,

    and i am so excited

  • what Krisnamurti did not realize was that the UN was not set up to create peace any more than the Carnegie Endowment was. they are tools of the rulers (socialists, bankers, ect.) to eventually impose world dictatorship. but he was aware of that eventual result overall as was revealed in his statements here and there particularly about technolgy. we know that Wall St banker Jacob Schiff funded Trotsky ect there are some naive UN people who don't know about the agenda. they are kept as cover.

  • I think Krishnamurti knew this all too well

  • you are right! he was talking for 60 years. he seen everything in his life, so i´m pretty sure that he was aware of that power struggle!!

  • Hey guys, do you think you could pay attention to this broadcast and maybe you might realise you are dissing the very things K offers to us all about reality. No, not a t.v show. Not some back hander from an arrogant power monger like' the reality is'. No. A red hot part of your own unconditional possibility. But dudes, really? Power to you all.

  • The state of consciousness of the average individual is what determines the common conditions of the society.

  • And the average individual lives in a state of profound sleep; which he so arrogantly calls consciousness.

  • @prospect42191 Mr. Coward, do you know what consciousness means and when he said he is with the concept of consciousness. don't blame other with limited stupid idiot knowledge, which is part of the consciousness which is gathered and stored in brain as memory and everyone's content of consciousness is the same without exception. I don't know how mindless people speak without any thorough investigation. Idiots

  • What we call as society is nothing more than a collection of subjective minds interacting with one another, which for the sake of convenience in language we call the society. What one puts out into the society is none other than a reflection of one's inner state. If one is in conflict within oneself, that is what one projects out into the world. If one is in harmony within oneself, that is what one projects into the world.

  • watch zeitgeist addendum

  • what is the united nations?

    sorry for my ignorance

  • check in wikipedia..!!

is most sorry not try to know.. ;)

  • thanks

  • Dude, you are 21 and living in the UK and you don't know what the United Nations is? Not trying to be hostile... my mind is just blown by that fact. I would suggest redirecting some of that 2Pac listening time and dedicate it to reading something about the history of western civilization.

  • No, i know what the UN is. im 17 and do alot of reading. I just wanted to see if what i knew about UN was right or not. thats all.

  • Sorry, you're profile said you were 21...and your question was:

    "what is the united nations?

    sorry for my ignorance.

You could see how I could be misled.

This isn't 'nam skeelzy, there are rules! :)

  • In 1985 Jiddu Krishnamurti said in Brockwood Park that he would not use the word meditation again because "it is a stupid word". In 1975 Ruben Feldman Gonzalez had suggested the same thing to him and had asked him to use the term Unitary Perception instead. Krishnamurti told him to talk about his understanding but to use Unitary Perception rather than the word meditation, a word that is associated with measurement.

  • The cause of conflict is the psychological sense of value people place on objects of their thoughts. True peace will happen when people ignore their psychological values.

  • Nope, ignoring psychological values is not the way to go. As JK sais you have to stay with the fact that we are traped in psychological values. If you dont ignore that you have the chance to go deep into it and solve it. Ignoring is a trap, dont fall into it..

JK is not keen on using the word meditation because it will be misinterpetated. people say that it is the `I` that meditates. In fact in true meditation there is no center, no self.

  • Very true for coming up with ideas for solving psychological problems (the idea of war or non-peace is only a thought, not a reality), but for real peace there needs to be an end to people trying to solve their psychological problems, because that's all war or non-peace is.

  • it scares me a little that many people dont understand JK at all or other entlightend people like Eckhart Tolle. It seems to me people make it into a mind game, the very same mind that created the problem canoot get rid of it ever. if it could all problems would be solved decades ago.. More thinking means more problems. We have to learn a completly new way of life where perception has no self no center.. One day we will be free...

  • This is a paradox, because you are doing the same thing. If there is any answer at all, it is to simply not try to understand anything, and just let it be.

  • Yes we are all..

    hehe

    Entertaintment is ruling..

But its not wrong at all..

    Just let it be too...!:D

    live truth

  • I recommend Mooji for you:)

he gets you back to ONE perception pretty fast..

  • Ok, i will take a look. thx

  • what does 'parchment terrace' mean?

  • I think it means "Peace on Earth".

  • @seastarwatcher Possibly. But If you only rely on guessing, "peace on earth" is only one among many possibilites. It could mean something totally different. Does anybody know what are these actual words ? He says it in part 2 at 0:23 and in part 3 at 6:52. It can also be the name of somebody or a saying in latin... Who knows ?

  • It's the latin title of the Pope enciclic "Pacem in terris", but the english pronunciation seems very weird... It means "Peace in the lands", i.e. peace on the earth.

  • @knandha1 It's "Pacem in Terris", Peace on Earth. Pacem in Terris (Peace on Earth) was a papal encyclical issued by Pope John XXIII on 11 April 1963.

  • @knandha1 he says pacem in terris (latin) meaning "peace on earth"

  • @knandha1 you meant "Pacem in terris" in fact, don't you ?

  • @knandha1 Pacem in terris (its latin)

  • @knandha1 it is latin. PACEM IN TERRIS

  • thank you the human being called krishnamurti

  • He is reported to have said, "No more United Nations" after this talk. He felt they didn't listen to a thing. See Mary Lutyens book.

  • Yes, I remember reading that in the Lutyen's book. Didn't they give him some sort of medal as well. K simply went off and brushed his teeth.

  • this video posting is very beneficial for all of us. Thanks a lot.

  • How interesting that the man introducing him refers to him as 'the world teacher'-wasn't the rejection of this title a decisive factor in his life?

  • Yes, quite right. I think the man introducing him is forcing this label of world teacher on him, he must have felt uncomfortable with the superficialities of others ideas surrounding him. As always Ks message was the important factor, for those who are willing to listen, and explore.

  • @seastarwatcher Could posssibly be strategical, since "world teacher" is a bit more heavy than "random thinker" :) so many great men - cannot believe that he spoke to UN, and they (appearantly, from todays pov) didn't take it more seriously. Man (and woman) could easily stop all the waste, if the incentive was there - but it's hard when peaceful women (and men) are being peaceful, while the mongerers restlessly whip up anger, resent, fear and hate.

  • @Olaix1 the solution to stop war mongerers is to passively resist. passive = being peaceful. resist = saying no and speaking out when we they force injustice against us. people still go to jobs, care for their welbeing, whether millionaire or not, partly through routine, partly because they know not what else to do. when disaster hits us we act, but when injustice is forced upon us, we resist. we all have courage within to do this. resist. and stand up for human principle. you are human, right?

  • @gnasheroony not sure where the "you are human, right" comment comes from, I basically said nothing that in contrary to what you say, or anything that should be perceived as it. Neither do I disagree about the methods to achieve, nor the care or bla bla. Yet, many great men has spoken, like J. Krishnamurti, (my point) but if you look around you in the world, what do you see?on a sidenote, i wonder how pleased the pharma and the the military industrial complex was about his message :p

  • @gnasheroony My point also is that while you look around you, what is the message? what is it that the people in power try to achieve? and what do they do? and what do they say before they do it? and how many people who play activists have Krishnamurti's message/ their own understanding of this matter as a driving force? do they even know? or just feel it and express it by what they know :p anyways, it will be one of my own disappointments of life to never see this man except for old videos :(

  • @Olaix1 the solution to stop war mongerers is to passively resist. passive = being peaceful. resist = saying no and speaking out when we they force injustice against us. people still go to jobs, care for their welbeing, whether millionaire or not, partly routine, partly because they know not what else to do. when disaster hits us we act, but when injustice is forced upon us, we resist. we all have courage within to do this. resist. and stand up for human principle. you are human, right?

  • @brentanoleader

In fact or at least to my knowledge Krishnamurti never explicitly rejected this "title". What happened in 1929 and marked an important turn in his life is that he dissolved the Order that was built around him by the Theosophical Society.

If you look at the world and how it is today, he was really a world teacher without his person being important of course (but what he said).

  • @brentanoleader Yes, I agree - he was always one veicule to the world teacher. Unfortunaly, his disgrace was being ridicularized.

  • Today, this vedio is worth watching. I wonder what he had said if he were alive.

  • What a surprise - did not know, that krishnamurti was once talking at the united nations. but how can poltitians, lobbysts and others contioned people, including myself, really fully understand his teachings? it might be a waste of time. but as jesus puts it: some of the good seed falls on pavement, and some on good soil. so let us be the "new earth" (e. tolle).

  • What a waste of wisdom. Those blue collar barons and air-head politicians don't give a damn about what is being said. 20 or so years later, where are we?

    God bless Jiddu.

Thanks, seastarwatcher. These videos are priceless! :-)

  • thank you!

  • this is what inspires

  • Thank you!

  • I'd read about K addressing the UN but never knew that it existed on film. Tremendous thanks!

  • thank you for this seastarwatcher

  • 'SEPARATED NATIONS, beautiful, thank you starwatcher

  • the only change there is is the change of not seeking or adding more knowledge

  • Thanks alot for posting these god bless you
