  • you treat you car like that.....not surprising you had to junk it.

    idiot

  • @cpbetts take your negativity elsewhere lol.

  • I just bought a 1990 LS 400 this week. Incredible car really. Its engine is smoother and more powerful than anything I have ever experienced. Ride quality and sound system is top notch too. The leather is crappy, and the cassette player doesn't work. Power steering and oil leaks should be managed. Other than that I am driving in my dream car that is a year younger than I am!

  • Yea i went to my local mechanical shop n it was almost 300 to get it repaired. .. went to a junkyard but it was kinda hard to get it out.. so i just went like fuck it.. throwing it in... It was like new.. i was the second owner..

  • This car is now gone & this video is the only memory I have left of it :(

  • Miss my Ls... Had to throw it to the junkyard due to Blown headgasket.. :(

  • @diaztchris57 Damn, you threw it to the junkyard?? You could have easily fixed that.

  • @diaztchris57 .. LOL!!!!!! Are you fucking serious??? HOLY MOLY! LOL!!!! LOL!!!! Sorry, I can't help it, but to laugh my ASS OFF. LOL!!!! I bet someone else was like this guy is fucking stupid for throwing a LS400 in the junkyard for just blowing a little headgasket. LOL!!!!! LOL!!! Cause It could easily been fixed and you be back on the road like no problems. You should of gave me your car, I would of taken it home and fix it myself and Id have 2 lexus vehicles to drive! :)

  • @LightningMAS Lol .. it dint get to touch the junkyard ... a guy bought it from me .. he got it up runnin and i c it everyday .. :) He got it really nice ... N stop judging without asking ...

  • What does that mileage say at 0:54? I'm thinking around 360,000 miles?

  • @wilsonkm It had 383,000 Kms at the time of the video. Unfortunately the car is now gone, I sold it about a month ago but it made it well past 400,000 Km's & still ran great & was sold to a happy new owner who plans to drive it for another couple of years. These cars are the best.

  • @wilsonkm 363649 km is not that much to LS400.

  • @juxonix8 It was actually 383,000, not 363,000 :) & yes, that is not a lot at all for a Lexus LS.

  • @JaguarLexusCentral video says it is 363649

  • @juxonix8 Yeah, that first 6 is actually an 8, it had 383,649 on it when I made this vid a few years ago & has since surpassed 400,000 but unfortunately I sold it just 2 months ago :(

  • hard to believe theyre 20 years old i remember driving them around 94, a really tight car.

  • don´t rev in COLD!!!!

  • @FEGTTTSDH

it's gotta get rev'd up eventually

  • Until now, this vehicle is creditbly the quietest car ever and most reliable luxury vehicle in the world.

  • I love dodge and I like lexes too

  • I love lexes do you

  • Nice Lexus. You're not a dumbass, but you are one disrespectful douchebag.

  • It's true. You can thank this ruthless, unforgiving world for that. I went from being a kind, harmless, skinny little teenager into a cocky, super-aggressive, disrespectful, straight up fuckin' prick! Oh well everyone has their flaws right?

  • @JaguarLexusCentral

    It's not your fault.

  • Nice, smooth sounding V8 :)

Maybe some acceleration runs in the future?

  • No acceleration runs. I drive like an old man! Lol!

  • Awesome video. I was wondering: Do you run your Lexus on premium for optimum performance and fuel economy?

Does it have to be run on premium for good mileage and performance?

  • To be honest, I always ran this car on premium fuel. Usually 94 octane, if not, 91. It would likely run fine on regular, the fuel economy & performance will not be as good, but if you don't want to spend the extra money, i would say you don't have to.

  • Would medium grade, 89 octane with anti-knock in it be ok?

  • Sure would man. Just make sure you take good care of your LS when you get one. :)

  • What would be considered "good care", besides essential fluids and not overheating?

  • I would say the Lexus would likely be cheaper than any of the other cars u mentioned. As for the driving, drive one urself & see, only u can make the judgment whether u like it or not. It doesn't handle all that great 'cause it's an older car, overall performance isn't that good, but for straight line driving it's excellent. So smooth & effortless, plus the V8 in it is amazing & it has some decent balls. The steering is the soft, loose feel, not the tight, sporty feel u would get from a BMW.

  • The steering or this car is so easy u can turn the wheel with one finger. Even after 18 years this car is sill a smoother ride than the Jag!

  • Sounds pretty good. My uncle can drive his '96 at full attention with just the tips of his thumb and index finger on the wheel.

It's the kinda car that you can easily drive while multitasking, right?

  • I wouldn't even worry about putting the anti-knock in it. If the engine starts to knock, then put it in, but I think it would be fine without it.

  • That sounds pretty good. Hey, my mom is considering getting a Jaguar next year, would you recommend an XJ like yours?

  • Absolutely! Does she want new or used? 'Cause remember the new XJ is coming out this year so its a lot nicer than mine but a LOT MORE expensive! The price for the top XJ jumped up over $30K CDN compared to the '09. If she wants used, then the '04 to '09s are good, I love mine. The XF seems to have a feminine appeal to it, that might be a good choice as well or better yet, if she wants a Jag & is willing to buy something in that $ range, if she likes the LS at all, that's always the best choice!

  • She would like to spend around USD 20k on one, so I'm guessing a 2004 or 2005. Jaguars seem to have more of a feminine thing about them.

  • Yes they do I know exactly what you mean. & the LS is definately a Man's car. Save the LS for yourself, your Mom should do fine with a '04 or '05 XJ!

  • Haha, that's EXACTLY what I was thinking. Hy mom gets the XJ for herself, and I have an LS.
