Every game has a considerable fanbase, each one for different reasons, it's best to find out which ones suit or gaming style more and play those, getting all of them would be too much troublesome/expensive nowadays.

If you ahve a PS3 though, I really suggest you get ff7, 8 and 9 in the PSN store, they are delightfully cheap. I even bought FF8 again even though my disks of it still work^^

The last girl is Tifa, one of FFVII's playable characters.

And no, Final Fantasy games are not related (there are 2 exceptions I think, but that's another topic). There are though some things in common in all the games, like many of the random enemy monsters, the chocobos (horse-birds) and to a lesser degree, the fact that they are all "Final Fantasies" (as in they are the biggest thing that could happen in that world).

Other than that, it's new everytime.

It is Bahamut ZERO, the second most powerful summon in the game after knights of the round.

There are three bahamuts:

Bahamut (Black/Yellow)

Neo Bahamut (Red)

Bahamut ZERO (Silver)

They changed the design from the original game a little, but it is him.
