Part of the problem in American schools is the cultural diversity. Children of so many different backgrounds, some who don't even speak English at home, trying to learn at the same pace. It's just not feasible for students to excell in that environment. Sure, computer games and video games have contributed to their poor performance, and their sedentary ways have affected their physical fitness as well. They need to read more, exercise more, and improve their work ethic.

We need walk in clinics and community health centers so people stop using emergency room care (the most expensive care) for every little thing.
Of course preventative care is important, considering that 75% of our healthcare expenditures are for chronic conditions. But we also need research to cure these conditions, not just treat them!

Obama's plan would face the problem of healthy people who decide to not sign up until they develop medical problems, thereby raising premiums for everyone else. Barrack, contradicting his earlier assertions that affordability is the only bar to coverage, is now talking about penalizing those who delay signing up — but wonn't say how!

I travel to the United States on average 10 times a year. I LOVE Americans for so many different reasons, but you folks need to start reading books and put away your video games.

Part of the problem in American schools is the cultural diversity. Children of so many different backgrounds, some who don't even speak English at home, trying to learn at the same pace. It's just not feasible for students to excell in that environment. Sure, computer games and video games have contributed to their poor performance, and their sedentary ways have affected their physical fitness as well. They need to read more, exercise more, and improve their work ethic.

The US spends the most money on public education in Washington DC-which happens to be the district with the lowest test scores in the nation!. The poorest communities in America is where we spend the most money, and they repeatedly produce the lowest test scores! Catholic Schools in the United States educate students at a 40% lower cost than public schools and produce a 25% higher graduation rate.
Privitizing education would make far more sense and give families a choice where to send their kids.

Teachers work 180 days a year, only 6 hours a day and earn an average of 42,000 per year.
Thats an average of 38.88 per hour!

By the same token, putting an inexperienced candidate like Obama by the Democrats, is not putting America first. Hillary Clinton is far more qualified to hold the office of the presidency, but the Democrats knew that many people in middle America did not like her and that they resented her husband, so the Democrats tried pushing a candidate that nobody knew anything about in hopes of winning the election. you can only get so and so many dollars from private contributions, and now you can hardly get any from companies, mening the richer candidates has a huge advantage over the poorer ones.
even if we start drilling now it will take over 10 years before we even feel anything from it,and all the oil owning "terrorist nations" were made that way by the US or england.(more often england to be fair, exploiting the US)

He voted against his party more than any other Senator (he voted with his republican constituants 88% of the time, which is not 90-95%) while Obama voting with the Democratic party a staggering 97% of the time!
