I'm pretty sure from 1:30 to 1:36 was the original plan for Gohma, as the boss in the Temple of Time... But they changed it to ArmoGohma, the boss you smash with the statue using the Dominion Rod. Not sure why they changed it...

No one says that he MUST use his right hand to hold the Wii remote. It works perfectly well even if held with the left hand since the swordplay is used only by shaking the Wii remote.
