  • Grew up seeing this more than once on our old black and white TV set back in the day. Had I viewed it in color I might have enjoyed it more. As it was I remember feeling cheated, thinking, "This is a horror movie?"

  • Why aren't my freak outs like this?

    LOL XD

  • This dream sequence is probably the best part of the film. It's actually pretty trippy. Unfortunately, the rest of the film sucks.

  • killer looks like eminem in 8 mile..

  • Steckler's vision is so wonderfully bizarre. Bless his memory.

  • the killer looks like joe cornish

  • very deep and thought-provoking

  • wow, who needs drugs, when you've got films like this?

  • Someone give them an Oscar please

  • I've often heard that cinema has its own language... this, albeit fantastic, must be illiteracy

  • what the bloody hell is this?

  • I would love to have that evil laughing clown-thing (4:10).

  • Best movie ever. Okay maybe not, but it is my favorite. Ray Dennis Steckler was awesome.

  • It's considered to be one of the worse movies ever.

  • I know. But a lot of my favorite things are widely considered terrible. Favorite musician = Daniel Johnston. For me, sincerity trumps acclaim.

  • LMAO!!!

  • Alright already, lady, you've hypnotized the hell out of him!!!

  • so, they had to cut that part out? that was nothing!

  • " My incense is out of controllllll.."

"See, ya gotta tell her every day that you love her.."

    ( chicken clucking)

  • RIP Ray.

  • Ray Dennis Steckler, 1939-2009. A very important filmmaker, influential and ahead of his time. 'Kill ... Kill!'

  • I'm most freaked out by the black-face version of "Shick Out of Shape."

  • a classic film.. one of my favs.. thx 4 uploading...great job!!

  • Thanks for posting. I don't remember picking up on the fact that Jerry killed both dancers, but I think that was omitted from the MST3K version. Now it makes more sense. And even though it is the freakiest movie I've ever seen, this one scene is pretty cool. It does not, however, make Ray Dennis Steckler any more appealing.

  • They did cut out that part, although they left in the radio blurb later on where the announcer says Marge's partner was fatally wounded "trying to apprehend" Jerry (even though here all he does is stand there).

  • ray dennis steckler, ladies and gentleman, ray dennis steckler

  • OBEY

  • Steckler deserves a bigger cult than he has. Maybe his films are not as entertaining as Ed Wood's products, but they should get more attention especially by Cult/Grade B Film fans!

  • I'm sorry, but I just could NOT watch this without reciting the MST3K riffs to myself. <:P *lol*

Where did you find this sans Mike & the 'Bots?

  • Ha ha, me too. As soon as Marge spun around and saw Jerry with the knife I immediately said, "Uh oh! Dance critic!"

  • You talk funny, you feelthy peeg.

    XP

  • Ah, Inspector Madison, thank God you're here.

  • Madison IS.... Madison. O_o

    *lol*

  • Madison...'s sister.

  • Also this - along with Steckler's other films - is available on DVD.

  • strangely reminds me of Metropolis

  • I liked this movie's atmosphere...

  • what drugs did ray dennis steckler take?

  • All of them!

  • Even weirder than obey tha walrus.

  • And I thought David Lynch came up with all that stuff in his films on his own !...Imagine that,he learned most of what he knows from "The Incredibly Strange Cretures Feature !"...and who knew that Nicolas Cage popped up in this film as well (check out 4:43 thru 5:00 )..Bahhhhhhhhhhh!

  • That's not Cage (was he born yet?), that's Cash Flagg or the Incomparable Ray Dennis Steckler.

    Pure Genius!

He should be listed as the A Number One No-Budget Filmmaker - or at least revered as the best of the old school no budget filmmakers.

  • Glad to see this scene without all the MST3K crap getting in the way...

  • was this shown in the MST3K version?

  • Did Ray know ballet?

There's some pretty impressive pirouettes in there.

    Sha-na-na!

  • Can someone post the MST3K version?

  • I cant hep but laugh at the words "Ray Dennis Steckler's masterpiece." The best thing that can be said about this film is that it gave MST3K really good material.

  • Funniest B-movie ever made.

  • A dimension made not out of sight or of sound but of crap.

  • The movie that dares to show you every pore!
