This report from FOX News and WSJ completely ignored the neutral data in the poll. Adding this data would not have made much of a difference in the percentages but it reinforces my opinion that the polls numbers are being inappropriately represented by the so-called fair and balanced conservative media. I am no genius but I can define the gaping holes in this survey. It does not consider that fact that the poll takers are not well informed about TP politics. Only 29% know anything (a great deal or fair amount) about the Tea Party. Therefore, 71% need to learn about them. The explanation in 14b is the only information that these poll takers will see when they take this survey and there is NO opposing view represented here. I bet this skewed the results a bit. Here is the rub. Look at 14a and 14b.

The poll shows that 23% know nothing at all about the Tea Party yet only 15% stated that they have no opinion about them. This means that 8% of the people who took this survey have an opinion on a subject that they know nothing about. More to come.

On December 16 WSj & NBC released another poll. Google TEA PARTY POLLS and click on links to WSJ or LA times. The article puts the Tea Party ahead of Dems and Reps in public opinion. 41% TP, 35% DEM, 28% GOP. The funny thing about polls is that, if calculated properly, their numbers are supposed to add up to 100. More to come.

Actually, the 9-12 tea party march in Washington D.C. wasn't a racist gathering, it was a bipartisan march of people protesting the unconstitutional growth in power of the congress and the white house. The group of over 1.5 million people, including myself, was compiled of all races, religions, creeds and political agendas. I'm unaware of where you gained evidence to support your thought that the protest was a "racist gathering," but your source wasn't informed on the true nature of the protest.
