It's amazing to me! Lucy and Desi's love for each other pops, BOOM! right through the television screen. I know they had difficulties in the marriage but WOW, look at Lucille Ball as Desi sings to her! She is NOT acting. Here's a woman so in love and a man that adores her. This scene touches the heart; it can't help but make me cry. What an incredible gift these people gave to the world!

Lucy always puts a smile on my face when I am down and out. I would watch the show after school in the afternoons growing up on the ABC station here in Philadelphia. I went to Hollywood with my tour map in August 1987 and found Lucy's house, she was home, and in my mind to this day she game to the window when I was calling out her name. There has never been another sitcom that could top the I Love Lucy show. It has orginality, good punch lines and actors who had a good sense of timing and delivery. I watched the show when I was 5 years old and today my children watch it and it has not lost the charm and the chrisma. If you need to have a good laugh and don't want to watch anything new on TV just put on the re-run of I Love Lucy and you will smile again.
