If they have a Ferrari and you have a Skoda, they get the job! If you mech Arm lifts 100kg and theirs lifts 200kg, THEY will get the job!
@risetodemise I know cause if your job is to lift cargo then THAT person will get the job. Also, any other extras you have can avoid an accident (like a better eye or something), for example: if you work on moving cargo with your arms and you have Terminator eyes than you can avoid a serious accident, employers will take this things to consideration. So the more machinery you have the better (for them of course, not for us.. we will become more machine and less human).
@Handgun777 I'm not disagreeing with you, All I'm saying is that some people will not be able to afford any upgrades, while others may only be able to afford basic ones! Whereas the richer people will have the best upgrades! It will stop people getting jobs as the ones with no, or very basic, upgrades won't be considered for jobs! As it stands now, getting a job requires skills you learn whereas in the future, it will be about the skills you can BUY! And those without money will be useless!

The first is that the price won't always be high, as with technology today these enhancements would become cheaper and cheaper as the years go on because of competition. The second is that if this technology existed there would probably be alternatives in the form of suit like enhancments that a company can hold and give to thier workers for peiods of time.

Secondly, a body suit is merely a machine, my problem is with altering the human form permanently, Designer babies, prosthetics that people will actively seek out!

Just play the original first, its like 10 buck on amazon.

Take the K–T extinction event as an example. It is believed that Crocodyliformes thrived and survived because they're half-aquatic and can adapt to different modes of survival. Scavenging, hunting, go on without food etc, much like the aligators and crocodiles of today. That is survival of the fittest, the most adaptable.
I think what Deus Ex applies to is, the law of the Jungle, and some kind of Social Darwinism.
That's a great quote and all, and the animal shots are nice, the low pitch dramatic voice was a good touch. But, they don't seem to have anything to do with the game.
God damn i looking so fucking forward to Deus EX. Preorder the same day it was listed. Thoes rewiewers that give's this game crapy score should rage quit their jobs haha.
Even if SOMEHOW this game doesn't fill the shoes of the original, it's trailers, music, cinematics, and other advertising will always remain the best I've ever seen.
