  • Me gusta mucho la version de Ray Price pero Patsy Cline....te derrite..pura miel, miel de Virginia.

  • the MOSt incredible singer EVER

  • A day isn't worth a dime without Patsy Cline!

  • Patsy Cline and Wynn Stewart are two of my all-time favorites!

  • Patsy has always been a favorite!

  • What a voice and just think it was all recorded live. Not too many folks do that any more

  • I just noticed that Patsy died in 1963 - that TWO greats lost in that year.

  • beautiful. x

  • I would not care what kind of instruments were used just to here that Beautiful voice is like heaven to me it does not get any better Patsy was one of a kind I wish so much I could turn back the hands of time and be able to have her not get on that plane but she wanted to get home to her babies whom she loved more than anything in her life.

  • I have a live recording of Patsy doing Crazy Arms, and I like it better. That last album she recorded in 1963 had more a pop sound to it. The best song off it was Sweet Dreams that song always gives me a chill, and leaves a tear in my eye.

  • As close to a queen the south ever had.

  • I like the Ray Price version and Jerry Lee Lewis version better, but hey, Patsy could have sung the phone book and make it sound like million bucks! She left way too soon.

  • I love Patsy but nobody can beat Jerry lee's version of this song..

  • Great voice but...but I wish it'd been with a more traditional C&W band...and not studio professionals.

  • @Cadmium77

I agree. I have always wanted to be able to take her recordings and strip them of the strings and corny back up vocals and here her with just the rhythm section. One of the great all time voices.

  • @ranpam69 Yup, this recording is "So Wrong" I can't bear listening. Love you, Patsy, but you misfired here.

  • Wow - where did you get the pix? They are great. Thank You for sharing. A fan in NC

  • Though I prefer Ray Price's more traditionally-sounding original, I enjoyed listening to this version because of Patsy's unique & satisfying voice. One of American music's greatest tragedies was her early death. THANK YOU for sharing this musical treasure with us! :)

  • very nice video-thankyou!

  • She is still the best!

  • loved this!!!

  • Patsy Cline! It doesn't get any better.

  • Brilliant!

  • I like the song no matter who sings it

  • I'm pretty sure the music track was dubber over her original voice recording. They did alot of this back in the 80s and 90s. Why, I don't know.

  • i like the way she sang it. but i dont like the musical aspect of it. patsy herself did a great job as always

  • PATSY CLINE : Now and Forever : the 'one and only' 'Queen of country Music !' accept no false substitutes to her exalted hallowed throne. Patsy raised the bar of country to an Untoppable standard !!!

  • @squirrelnutcased

Yes I agree. I don't like this arrangement of Crazy Arms. It's not Cline's singing but the the instrumental aspect. It needs to be slowed down. This version is too up tempo.

  • wonderful singer!

  • Ok,the Ray Price version 'may' be better...only because Ray himself is a great great singer of country...but Patsy's is definitely way ahead of anyone else. Also, more often than not, the 'original' version of a song is generally the one we embrace as the 'best'. However, Patsy redoes 'other' venerable classice and 'they' are the best !

  • Marie Osmond Sang This Song Also!

  • There's just something absolutely wonderful about Patsy's Cline's spirit that comes out in her voice. She just sings the words of her songs in a way that you can't help feeling what she feels. So sometimes I don't care whose version is better than another as long as the singer captures my imagination. Patsy Cline will always be with us.

  • Wow! Never would have heard it done like this.

  • the very first version i heard was L Rondstadt. Now that I have heard this - I do like this version as well - so inavative for its time. She was a trail blazer..

  • I didn't before, realize Patsy did this one. She put a real nice touch to it.

  • I had no idea she passed away in a plane crash....big loss she has an intrancing voice

  • Patsy Cline and k.d.lang, both unsurpassed.

  • I like Patty Loveless too. LIke to hear what Martina McBride could do with Crazy Arms.

  • Patsy is cool.

But I think the percussion needs MORE COW BELL!

  • @TheGoodSamsBand hahaha cowbell hell yeah

  • @TheGoodSamsBand You have to be a fan of Christopher Walkin!

  • one of Gods angels now, love her

  • Amazing voice. Air travel has really killed off a lot of talent. Holly and freinds, Jim Croce, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ricky Nelson, Glenn Miller, who else?

  • and jim reeves..otis redding also...!

  • patty loveless does it best !

  • I agree. Patty is the best. She sings it with feeling. What's with all the thumbs down. We all have our reasons for liking who we like.

  • It's hard to pick...Patsy had that beautiful, wonderful voice, but Patty Loveless puts so much emotion into her powerful rendition that I wouldn't fault anyone for preferring Patty's version.

  • es la mejor version de esta cancion que he oido

  • Patsy's top lip is the shape of a bird's wing and Patsy was certainly a great songbird. There'll never be another.

  • Great song, great singer, but I'm not sure I like the arrangement.

  • I like Ray Price' version better.

  • you obviously don,t know your music then do you.

  • I would say that everyone has his own point =) Both are good... it just depends who you like more...

    Have a great day =)

  • I love Patsy, too. Her version of "She's Got You" moves me.

  • Hi i have to say i can`t agree with you , ray price is very very good , but there is nobody i have listen to in my life and iam 44 years old who had a more gripping and wonderful voice than patsy I think she is one of a kind !

  • As much a PATSY fan I am, I have to agree with you. I prefer Ray Price's version. But she did a good job with it.

  • Yeah, Ray's version is better!

  • which ray?

  • Ray Price. Look him up on YouTube! He's terrific and still performing today.

  • Linda Ronstadt sings everything at the top of her voice.

  • What an exquisite collage!

Great Patsy song, as we feast our eyes on one of the loveliest women of the mid-century.

  • this has to be one the most tastful places I've been on the internet. She will always be one of the greatest singers of all time

  • Great song!!! thanx for postin!!!

  • wow this is my grandmas fav song

  • This is one of my favorite Patsy recordings. Because of her, I have learned to play it on the ukulele. Thanks for posting this!

  • I'd like to listen to you play this song on ukulele :)

  • @timboytx

Heavens to Muragtroid! "Crazy Arms" played on the ukelele??? I too would LOVE to hear that! Sounds like it would be strictly from coolsvile,daddy-o! :)
